CAN CROATIA WIN EUROVISION 2024?

As is now customary, the channel will focus on the Top 10 or so favourites to win Eurovision 2024 (going by the bookies), and answering the question, CAN THEY?
In each episode I will take a look at:
The nation in question
Its history at the contest
Last year's Performer/s
This year's Performer/s
The Song
What's Going For it?
What's Going against it?
Will Juries Like it?
Will Televoters Like it?
My Verdict on whether the country can win, or not.
This is the final video in the series and up last but certainly not least it's: CROATIA.
Croatia is being represented by the fantastic Baby Lasagna with his entry "Rim Tim Tagi Dim"
From the moment he was selected in Dora 2024, he has had a seismic rise in the odds and rankings, but can he capture the hearts, AND VOTES of the viewers and juries alike and bring Croatia its first ever win?

Good man Padraic …. You’re a legend! This is my favourite for sure this year. I’ve spent 17 years in Rovinj, Istria (40 miles from Baby’s town of Umag)… Hrvatska is in my blood and soul. The most beautiful country and amazing people. Without bias though, this has stood out from the offset and will stand out on the night for first time listeners and us as fans! This will also be the commercial success song of Eurovision 2024 across the world. So for me too - I am 100% Croatia

Absolutely with you that it's about time we had a new winner - even if, ironically as you pointed out, Zagreb has already hosted. Its the most likely televote winner but the question is will the juries hold it back like they did to Kaarija? It's a much more open title race this year, with no obvious jury winner - which was always going to be the most likely contributor to a Swedish victory. Can't help thinking Switzerland will pip them to the title by a potentially slender margin, but I hope I'm wrong.

This year we have great performers and great songs, but BL and RTTD radiate victory and it can be seen by the number of views, comments, audience reactions... it's simply more fun

There is a lot of politics in voting for the best Eurosong. Croatia has over a million ex-pats all over the Europe.I think they going to be the deciding factor to tip the scales in Marko’s favour. Baby Lasagna entered Dora qualifying competition as a reserve; because someone else dropped out. The song is about young people leaving their home (and immigrating to other countries; 400,000 in 10 years) in search of a better life, and anxiety it creates. Yet, the song is litehearted; the energy unbelievable. It was written, and produced solely by Marko Purišić (Baby Lasagna) in his room in Umag, small town, Croatia. He writes songs (over 200) & books too. First time performing as a singer on a big stage, Marko did great; people of Croatia reacted and gave him the greatest margin of victory ever. Now; the entire nation is behind him. (See; ’Hrvatska plese Rim Tim Tagi Dim’ -KZfaq). With big stage and some improvements, it’s a definite leader. Eurovision song, here we come, Rim Tim Tagi Win!
