I work for a living in vintage optics. There are a few reasons why your scope could be yellowed. It is possible that the scope is made with Thoriated glass. The glass is mildly radioactive and turns yellow when not exposed to UV light. You can expose the optics to a black light for a few days to reverse the process. Another reason is that the optics were cemented together with balsam cement made from tree sap. Over time the cement delaminates and turns yellow. You can separated the optics with chemicals and re-cement with modern optical adhesives.

If you want to stop the .50, you really need to use 3/8" tempered glass on the outside surface and lexan inside. lexan scratches quite easy....tempered glass absorbs a lot of energy during impact.

Abrams Tank round to the front - HEI round However, she needs to be propped up with the front end staring at the stars so the round enters her engine block near the bottom and has to travel all the way through before sending bits flying through the interior and the rest into the stars that she is pointing toward. Prop her front end on something that can be seen through (like a metal cage..) so that we viewers can see every bit of our loved legend being sent off in a proper Demo Ranch way (and slow mo video to, please and thank you!)
