Men, do not hesitate for one moment to put a restraining order against your female partner if you feel your safety and health is in jeopardy. Placing a permanent restraining order on my female partner was absolutely the wisest protective move of my adult lifetime. My only regret is not doing it years earlier. Men, be safe!

A lady I know has a restraining order against her. She later filed one against him for harassment and stalking because he was using the RO like he could do what he wanted to her and she'd have to just tolerate it (driving by her house videoing her) or run off (magically showing up places she went.) After they both appeared in court on her hearing against him, he filed with the court against her for a violation of being within 500 feet of him while they were at the courthouse. It's just nuts.

Hi, I want to know what is consider evidence for filing HRO? It began almost a month ago and today the person showed up at my apartment asking to apologize. I thought it was someone else and open my door as I dont have a peep hole. I told her not to talk to me and have a nice day. It all began with her son hitting my daughter and her and her husband being mad my daughter called him a bitch for hitting her. I told them tell their son to stop and for them to dont talk to us. Yet she has made threats to my child when getting off school bus she told my daughter infront of the other kids she would kill me all because her son yelled at my daughter that I was fat and another kid yelled his mom is fatter then she yelled she would kill me. Police did nothing just told me speak to my apartment to get her name and file a restraining order. What proof do I need? She does have video i think of me telling her to tell her kid to stop when i knocked on their door but I dont have any video of her.
