Dude this hit home. I had a brand new truck (paid off) in the driveway and 30k debt to the IRS. When I got married my wife didn't understand why I hated my truck so much. It was a constant reminder of my poor decisions. I sold the truck back to the dealer, paid off the IRS and got my life under control. That truck, even being paid off yelled at me and told me how stupid I was for buying it. Selling it was my commitment to changing my life around financially

That's what people expect now with these "magic" injectable medications now like Mounjaro and Wegovy. Nevermind the fact that they cost thousands and you have to be on them for the rest of your life if you don't change your lifestyle...but everyone always wants a quick fix, and it's why we have shortages of those medications now.

At least 5k of us made $100k or more where I worked. Broke, paycheck to paycheck, and slave to debt was a common thing with many under a good disguise supported with biweekly paycheck. Pretty sad though. It’s so affordable and cheap to live there and raise a family. They could have done better financially through the years.

The most important thing that should be on everyone's mind currently should be to invest in different sources of income that doesn't depend on the government. Especially with the current economic crisis around the world. This is still a good time to invest in various stocks, Gold, silver and digital currencies. I never imagined that a few thousand dollars per month would add up. However, it is. I've made around $600,000 since 2020.

By consistently compounding my income through various profitable investments like savings accounts, stocks, bonds, and high-yield dividend funds, I've built a well-diversified portfolio worth seven figures. Thanks to the guidance of financial professional Gregory Thomas Patchak, I've learned to concentrate my efforts and prepare for any financial struggles that come my way. I honestly do not understand all this drive to sell stuff and go by cheaper stuff. Just take the stuff you bought, good quality, and never replace it. Keep it. That new car will last 20 years, that high cost furniture should last 20 years. Instead of hating it, let it bring you peace in that you will not have to buy any of it again for years. I would not say you should use this as a justification to buy any new stuff, but, for the stuff you were stupid in the past and bought that you should not have, find peace in it. I do not think there is anything wrong in buying a new car as long as you save for it and pay for it in cash, while leaving all of your Emergency Funds, Retirement and other savings in tact. Spending money is okay, as long as every purchase is made with intention to support your financial goals and those goals should support the life you want to live.

For example, If you buy a new vehicle in cash…it’s going to feel different to you than if you bought it on the premise that you can afford to finance it and make the payments on it.
