People threaten Lowes employees and vice versa with Home Depot with the ole "i'm going to there then." as if that will magically cause what they want to buy to appear. Often something that only a specialty store or even online only retailers will only carry. It's bizzare to watch a customer do that; if you are going somewhere else because they don't have the product you desire its only to be expected. Me telling that plumbing guy for instance they dont have 4 1/2 PVC pipe, therefore im going to your direct competitor that we both damn well know dont have it either, doesn't magically change the reality that neither of those stores will carry it in store perhaps ever. It's just a way to be a d*ck really.

Owned my own cafe for ten years. I’d get the same question but I’d say to them “ The owner is here do you want me to go get him for you ?” After the yes answer I would duck down behind the counter and stand up introducing myself as the owner. Only then did they realize that the situation was about to turn pear shaped for them not heading in their favor. Even better fun was kicking them out of the store. Seldom was the customer right!

The phrase "the customer is always right" is a screwed up interpretation of the original saying "the customer is always the customer" meaning, treat them respectfully because you want them to continue to spend money as a customer. When they act like that jerk who wanted free sandwiches, he wasn't intending to spend any money and thus he was not a customer.

I can relate. I was working in McDonald's when I was 16, making £5 an hour, and the entitlement of people who demanded their Big Macs to be immaculate when we had 200+ pending orders at any one time was simply laughable.

@@IAmAleksha whenver someone complained at the one i worked at about how it looked i litelary just pointed to the writting that says the pictures are simbolic and cause im a big dude they didnt really push anymore at that point unless they were stupid god once i actually had to throw a guy out (got a small bonus for that one since i had a cool manager) cause he got agressive with the floor crew(the people taking care of the tables and stuff)

One of the greatest feelings working in any form or retail, is a rude customer asking to see the manager and replying back in the style that Vader replies to Luke "I am the Manager", I loved being a younger Manager, because no one expects it and they would get crazy rude to me and ask to speak to a manager and would be shut down.

Call me a Karen or whatever, but if someone serves me fooked up food, I ask them if I can speak to the manager and tell them the food was dog 💩. If you don’t say anything, they will keep f******* it up and they will lose business in the long run. the cook serving bad food over and over won’t do it right without knowing they are doing it wrong. The server writing orders wrong won’t know without feedback. So, as a manager, you can either take the side of your bad employees and lose business or listen to the consumer and make a correction to keep their business and make them want to come back. That’s why they say the customer is always right. It should be, “The honest customer is always right.” There are definitely people that lie to get something free, those people are garbage people. I’ve never complained when my food is delicious 😂. I tell them they did a great job. Now do you zoomers get why people ask to speak to a manager after you messed up? 😂

It's not always a Karen that asks to speak to the manager. I work at a McDonald's and I don't blame them sometimes for wanting to speak to someone other than teenagers who don't know what they are doing, the service and product can sometimes be shocking and it's not exactly dirt cheap anymore

I love it when they end their Karen rants with "I'm never coming back here again" I'm just like "oh, thank god". I actually said that out loud kinda under my breath once and the lady heard me. She just gave me this 'are you kidding me' look and stomped out the door.

Damn I was watching animal videos and mama bears getting her baby cubs across a busy road with traffic and then I was brought here...wtf? lol Well I'm glad because this is a cool video and I know many franchise owners of similar restaurants so I can relate to this video and I appreciate all the hard work you and your families do to make a business and run things. This just popped up on my recs and the one thing I appreciate is the fact the sandwiches in the video are being made like Sandwiches and not fucking 12 inch long hotdogs. My local subway half asses how they put sandwiches together, don't slice the bread fully from one end to the other and spreads it open like they're performing an autopsy on a body, and I hate it cause as soon as I get home and unwrap them they spring open like a jack in the box. And that's without me getting extra anything. I'd never ask to see the manager about it but sometimes I wanna say stuff, and I know I shouldn't, but urgh.

I worked at a pizza place for a few years, got made manager, one night customer came in to complain about how her pizza was wrong and she demanded to see the manager so I went, "Okay.", went into the back, came out with a bottle of Pepsi in my hand drinking it and went "Hi Im the manager, whats up." She was so taken aback, she just stormed out and didn't say a word.
