I was one of the few Lions’ fans who immediately knew “the Trade” was going to work for us. Now, everyone in Michigan loves Goff.

0:25 She obviously mispronounced the title as, "The WAY is Everything." Michael chose not correct her and professionally allowed the conversation to continue, and her to correct herself (probably with a producer's help). She handeled the flub gracefully and immediately by overarticulating the title when the interview allowed without specifically calling attention to the error. It was all refreshingly professional and kind hearted.

Please stop about the Goff resurgence. He was always good and would of won the Rams superbowl with that bought team. McVay trashed Goff to take the focus off his coaching issues during the Pats Superbowl. Goff put 2 TDs in Cooks hands who dropped both and McVay had no answers once Gourley was shot and the Rams had no running game. So lets all blame Goff. He took two teams to NFC championships and will do more

The Super Bowl hangover for the losing team is real. Only the Patriots (Brady) and Chiefs (mahomes) have made it back to the game a year after losing it this century.

The Lions had a ruff first 2/3rds of that 1st season. The last 6 games they went 3&3. They beat the 10-2 Cardinals, they beat the Pack in Lambo and Vikings. Those were tuff wins!

Yea, well, the 49ers have a decent oline, cmc, deebo, brandan eyuk. I feel like any qb would do well with that offense, plus there defence is just as good. I think hes good i just dont think superstar.

Wow thx for the back handed compliments on Goff who was the very first player new Lions GM Brad Holmes traded for as he proceeded to rob his former boss Rams GM Les Snead of Draft picks knowing Jared Goff is every bit as good as Matt Stafford and unlike Matt was built for his total re-build of the Lions. Do some real research. Goff handed Lions their first win over Lamar's Ravens in the 3rd week his first year in Detroit with 11 seconds and yardage needed to make a 67 yd FG. Goff doesn't play defense. Lions are now the 3rd team Jared Goff as turned onto Champions.

Shanahan’s problem is the way he built his team! He thinks his system is more important than the QB. If he can get somebody to just ‘run it the way he draws it up’ he thinks that’s enough. Jimmy G and Purdy are essentially the same guy. Good not great players who somewhat overachieved their talent level. Draft position means nothing! That’s the dumbest part of the Purdy discourse. He has an average arm and decent mobility. He processes at a high level and that’s his best attribute by far. What’s around him will dictate how far he goes. Once the Avengers aren’t propping him up all the delusional fans will see what he truly is. I hope the 40WHINERS pay him 40-50M! It’ll be hilarious to watch them crumble…

That's the thing, everyone thinks Purdy is some elite QB, but he is just a piece in the system. He's good over the middle and on all those short routes, but put him behind a worse o-line and no CMC and he's probably not doing as good. He's a good QB, just not one of the top in the league. Shanahan's window is closing, and Detroit's is opened wide.

Detroit is in a similar boat, worse actually! You don’t win in the NFL paying good QBs great money. They may be able to capitalize on paying most of their main guys at the same time. Once Goff has to CARRY them the fairytale is over and it’s back to irrelevance….

Better o-line, 2 great RB's, a future Hall of Fame TE, the BEST offensive line in the NFL, Amon-Ra, and Jamo who can also run the ball and juke defenders out of their shoes in short areas. Plus a revamped secondary and D line. There's no way they are worse lol
