If you struggle to lose chest fat and want something you can do at home, just do this. In this video, I’m going to give you a four step plan for how to lose chest fat at home. As always, it’s going to take some work from your part however when you know what to do, it makes it much easier and faster to reach your goals.

That said, we have to start by first asking the question of whether or not the saggy chest or flabby lower pecs that you are seeing in the mirror are actually due to an accumulation of chest fat. At times, the tissue can be more glandular in nature and accumulates as a result of a genetic disposition or hormonal imbalance in something called gynecomastia. Often, when this is the cause there is a focus of the additional tissue around the nipple.
A true chest fat issue however is something that is more dispersed throughout the chest. It can happen at any body fat issue but is it obviously worse as body fat levels get higher.
If gynecomastia is the root of your saggy chest then you are going to have to investigate surgical or medical solutions.
The good news is, only 2 out of 10 cases of man boobs are the result of this condition. Instead, we are dealing with simply an abundance of chest fat as the problem and this is something that you can do something about - starting today.
The first and most necessary step in your plan of action to lose chest fat fast is to address your diet. No matter how you are eating right now, you are going to have to make some improvements if you want to make a change here. Whenever body fat accumulation is the problem, it always comes down to the fact that you are simply taking in more calories than you are consuming and are not in a hypo caloric state.
Some additional good news, if you were to ask me how difficult a problem it is to solve chest fat problems, I would say it’s a 3 or 4 on a scale of zero to ten. This has a lot to do with how man store chest fat which I’ll describe in more detail in a second. Getting the vein that runs above the v-line and below a set of 8 pack abs is much more difficult to achieve comparatively.
The easiest way to accomplish this is to simply aim to decrease your caloric intake by about 20 percent. This often times will not require that you make vast changes to your diet. Instead, slightly smaller portion sizes or cutting out some of the obvious alcohol or junk food that you know doesn’t belong in a healthy eating plan is all that is needed.
Combine this with the fact that you will need to address the underlying pecs and chest muscle beneath if you really want to get a perfect chest. This can and is best handled via the adoption of an overall training plan. One that includes lots of compound lifts like squats, bench press, rows and deadlifts is going to help you to build as much lean muscle as possible which will help you to increase calorie burn even at rest.
That said, some targeted chest exercises for the lower chest can be helpful. These are all things that allow you to move your arm from a high to low position. This includes exercises like high to low crossovers, incline pushups with a plus, incline twisting pushups, the classic dip and the reverse side lateral raise shown.
All of these lower chest exercises are great for ensuring that you follow the fibers and develop the pec major in a way that can be shown off when the body fat levels are low enough from your improved diet plan.
Finally, improving your posture is an instant fix for a sagging chest. This is due to the fact that when you have rounded shoulders the pec musculature gets smaller in appearance. It almost hides in plain sight. If you were to simply stand up straight and broaden out your shoulders the chest would be able to stand at attention. @@KianaShalix yeah dog. But listen, one thing Jeff overlooks is attitude towards self. You need to have your own back. Literally have your back stronger and be your own best friend. Accept yourself. You don't occur in a vacuum, you are in a society. Look at society. So Be gentle with yourself. Also, the overarching way to achieve all that he says is a by-product of being proud of yourself and kind to yourself.

I used to weigh near 300 lbs, I just measured yesterday and am at 238 lbs, I started the journey early in 2020 and it makes me so happy I've been achieving my goals, but I lost almost 10 lbs last month because of my new job. So I've learned that not only is diet and excersising important, but having hobbies and a active job makes a huge difference

Way to go buddy. I was in the same spot 305 lbs Christmas of 2019. Now I'm bouncing right between 225 and 235 lbs, eating steak and veggies like a king. I think I have gone as far as diet can carry me so i got a cage, weights and my resistance bands show up in a week. Keep on keepin' on.

He's right. I've recently lost fifty pounds by working full body, but most of all push ups and squats. The weight just fell off and the muscles firmed up in two months. And I haven't even gone to the gym yet in this process! Now I'll just supplement my workout with these chest exercises. Thanks!

Thanks jeff I needed this advice. Already knew I need to create a caloric deficit but these exercises are what I was missing. I'm a trucker so I have to get my reps in the parking lot most of the time and I am going to have to get creative to simulate some of these but you definitely got me started in the right direction. I got big and lean and then said to myself, "okay I made it! Now I can eat whatever I want and stop lifting!'.....aaaaand now I have love handles a 2 pack and man cans LOL!!!!

Thanks for your video, it applies to me. About 2 yrs ago I weighed 265 pounds I got down to 185 and did that with only smaller portion size. I’m 65 years old, walk 3 miles a day and look forward to working the rest of your video into my life style.

Hey Jeff, Thank you for being my motivator. I am 74 and one of those guys very self conscious about my chest aka man boobs. I started using My Fitness Pal not only for calorie intake but monitoring what I put into my body. I have put a mini gym in my garage and my day starts at 0600. I just started with a routine and eating. I know changes happen with consistency and discipline. I continue to watch your videos and add to my list on the dry erase board. I've worked out with weights since I was 14 and I'm now 49. I found this channel a couple years back and I have to say, it's made a big difference. I saw another video on a similar subject which was the outer chest and how to shape it. Jeff demonstrated wide grip presses, dips and light fly's which I started doing immediately and wow, what a difference. My chest filled out and I finally got that classic wide chest. Anyone watching and wondering if this is just another channel or if it's something special and worth paying attention to, I urge you to watch all his video's!

I wish I saw this when I was in 6th grade, I had no idea what was going on with my body so instead of exercising and eating right, I starved myself and fucked up my posture to hide my chest. At my worst I damn near looked like a holocaust survivor. 24 now and It's thanks to Jeff's videos that I'm starting to get my life back and out of pain. I was in decent shape 4 years ago and found this channel very helpful in molding my body into the shape I wanted. I had a major stroke 4 years ago and I am still recovering. I have a lot of weakness on my entire left side. I've gained 30 pounds since my stroke, mostly due to inactivity and poor diet, I have found the advice on this channel to be the most consistent with what my occupation and physical therapists tell me to do. The only difference is that their goal is to get me to a baseline compared to average people. The exercises show on this channel have a goal set for a higher standard and I appreciate that.

@@udhavstandout8733i was a football player i had good body then, but i quit it 5 years ago and after 1 year and 4 months suddenly my body starts to store much fat and being soft after that i started a hard job and in just 2 months i lose 16 kgs because i dont eat much but i regained it when i quit the job and now i workout for 5 hours in the gym, i dont drink alcoholic drinks and soda too i also dont eat much but i dont have proper diet i gain muscle but it isn't that much visible because of the fat, i am 64kgs right now

Thank you these tips I will incorporate into my daily routine. I was a very big guy in 2018, I topped 367 lbs. Now 2021 I am at 245 lbs..nutrition is key to massive weight loss this transformation took 7 mths..trying to get to 215 lbs 6'1" already broad shoulders and naturally big chested due to comp swimming and rugby til 33..I am almost 50..so guys never give up..great tips have use a bunch to help me thru this..thank you

it's great that this guy not only talks about the physical side of having chest fat but also the emotional side , such as embarrassment at going to the gym or beach etc, which can be a big issue with men. Loved the video presentation and advice.

Your gut biome might be holding you stuck at this level. I fasted a bit, which is proven to help reset gut microbiome, and it made a slight caloric deficit work better for me afterward.

To lose the stubborn fat (chest, love-handles, or wherever else your body stocks it) you need: Caloric deficit + Time + Patience!! There is no magic fix.

I like how you broke it down fat stores lower, then rises. Lose fat where you last gained it at, which is head, neck, shoulders, chest arms, belly etcetera in a reverse way. My chest is getting leaner and more defined, and my stomach and legs are the last to go in that regards. Thank you man.

@@Monk_Funk I'm not the one you asked, but let me tell you this. I wasn't skinny, still aren't, but after I started working out I'm seeing my body taking shape, like actual shape is starting to form where fat was before. Now I'm no fitness guru, but I think face pulls are carrying me.

What I love about this guy is he isn't like everyone else that tries to make you think just exercise is what you need, and it will be easy and super fast, he is extremely smart when it comes to health and fitness and I've noticed he always starts with diet and how that is the main foundation of which you build your growth in fitness on.
