Love seeing the difference between the .408 that's already a beast and how the .50 just takes it to a whole other level.

.50 bullet is quite a bit heavier, that's why. It's mostly an anti-materiel cartridge. But 408 has much superior ballistics, and retains more energy than .50 past 300-350 yards. The bullet trajectory is also flatter, and flight time is shorter compared to .50, making it superior for long-range shooting. In this test, of course, the distance was short and the larger bullet made the difference.

He has sold the vet clinic, to his late brothers wife I believe, so I don't know that he has been a practicing veterinarian for several years. Not that he isn't still incredibly busy.

I live in the desert. Could’ve told you that rocks stop bullets. Not just granite, all kinds of them. (Side note, don’t shoot engine blocks from 10 feet away with a Mosin or you will need a Med kit.)😢
