Got the hammer in greece 1600 euro only for the airgun but its worth every single euro spend with a scuba tank and a vevor compressor it went in 2.5k euro in total but there is nothing i cant hunt with it sure a shotgun would be cheaper but hammer doesn't need paper's awsome airgun very powerful and accurate even at 100 meters

Best shot placement video of the Hammer on the internet! Your training is awesome you waited for the deer to get 90 degrees of you side ways of you which most hunter force the shot . And you knew that and applied that knowledge and waited Thumbs up!

Great job their air hunters! Ya this air rifle is so underrated. Its all you need to get the job done! It is a wicked wicked tool. I have this same type air rifle shooting 400gr lead projectiles. Let me tell you it can't be matched. I have mine shooting well over 1000fps! Accurately. I'm sorry I cannot tell people my mod on it. One clue is put better seals in it and the sky is the limit! I notice you have a quick release air reservoir fill port cap for your hammer . Where did you get that and how can I get one?

If the bore is .510", could you also use a .510" Barnes TSX or .510" Cutting Edge Raptor? Or are you only limited to these lead bullets?

It is not why are used to use copper, jacketed bullets. Too much resistance.

@@EricHendersonAdventuresAfield I think you're right, I saw some Lehigh .510 caliber Controlled Fracturing bullets marketed as air gun bullets. They are all copper, however, the bands don't look nearly as large as they are on those conventional bullets.

Congrats Lauren fine Job, i am so impressed with how that bullet mushroomed def a lot of energy behind it, you seem well versed with this rifle my question is if you know is how would it perform in a colder climate I live in northern Michigan where we normally have snow on the ground for our rifle deer season temps from 5 degrees all the way to 75 degrees ive encountered deer hunting here with the biggest range being 75 to 25 in a 12 hour period

just put a small moderator/suppressor on it. Just taking the noise from 120+ DB to even 90 DB is the difference between hearing loss and simply uncomfortable overpressure. That rifle, since it's regulated to 3000psi and uses a knock-open valve, realistically doesn't run at more than 1200 psi at the muzzle. You can go to Menard's and spend $20-$50 and 30 minutes of your time and make an effective suppressor for it. Gun mufflers have been around for well over 100 years, there's no excuse to not have one on a new gun (especially an air gun that's not regulated by the NFA (regardless of your stance on that law)). Doesn't disturb other hunters in the area, doesn't scare off all the animals, doesn't piss off the neighbors, doesn't hurt your hearing. When most countries in Europe (most are not known to be the most sporting-arms-friendly) advocate the ownership and usage of gun suppressors, you know it's a good idea.
