I have a Zebre, built like a tank, rides very big too, the dodgy throttle is down to the controller, these ship to the UK with a 14 amp job that's purely designed to strangle the motor down to 250w. It's not a 250w motor, it's a 750w unit that with the correct controller will quite happily put out 85nm of torque. Mine goes up hills with no problems at all, and these are hills that previous e bikes, from sondors and engwe, struggled to climb like I was riding an asthmatic pit pony. Upgrades coming for me will be a us spec controller and the above mentioned display which I believe unlocks the top speed to around 35 mph. Cracking bikes tho, keep up with the content, great channel to watch.

Nice one Steve, love the payload testing :) I recently converted my bike to electric using a Kirbebike kit, it's the 350-watt front hub which you tested on your channel, I am using the same battery as this it's a 48v 20ah 960wh LG cells, the bike has plenty of punch and great range with a decent top speed :)

Hi Steve, just starting following you, great stuff, interesting is the 250w motor 36v or 48 . I've just bought myself an ebike , the motor is stamped 36v 250w but the controller is 36/48v. Was thinking once the warranty has expired and the batteries past their best to replace the 36v with 48v for better performance.

This is a 750watt motor showing as 250w in uk . And the twist throttled fixed in uk to walk mode at 5ish max mph.. ... Brill bike.

The twist throttle with 5 Kmh limit is a ‘walk assist’ thing for if you need to get off on a steep hill or busy pavement with that big payload you can walk alongside and the throttle propels the bike at walking speed. My wife has a Roo Dog with it. I’m wondering if hers can be unlocked in software?

on the display if u hole the power and up button u can unlock the speed controller and set the speed

Would a 2000watt 52v be too much for a specialized sirrus hybrid700c wheels. The bike has no suspension, would a set of hybrid forks be needed to control the power?

Dude, you should (I’m not being a Karen here, just care about your welfare) be wearing a helmet and at least jeans or pads when hitting those kinds of speeds. I love all your reviews and I purchased because of your review the Hidoes Kanpe fat tyre bike. I send the links to your pages too to the ebike community Manchester and Cheshire too and they’ve said the same “dude, helmet!!” I’m 42 and I’m the generation where skid lids were huge humongous things. And damage via bullying did to me stopped me wanting to wear one, so I feel your pain. Great videos though. Keep up the great work. I’m planning on taking my bike to the Isle of Man 🇮🇲 and seeing if a TT bike shop would help my project to panel it up to look more like a motorbike
