Any update regarding the bat's performance after restoration? Cause I don't think it'll last long( specially the bottom part can break easily while facing yorkers). Anyways love the hardwork you put in to restore these.

@@MightyCricket thank you for the reply. Is it really worthy to stick small pieces of wood to the bat only with glue ? I've seen other videos where cylindrical wood sticks are drilled into the bat to make a tight bond.

@@rajapal2443 It depends , for these kind of repair it not necessary to drill and insert sticks , glue with piece wood would be enough

@@rajapal2443 that is when you put dowels into the edges to reinforce and support your bats longevity. It depends on the quality of cricket you play and ultimately comes down to the repairers thoughts

shehzad this is a very good repair considering the state this bat was in. they are not invincible so unfortunately they will break. Our job as bat repairers is to extend the life of the bat. But they wont last forever
