If you suspect you have a plantar plate sprain and go to the doctor, you may wonder whether or not plantar plate injury show up on x-ray at all. This video explains what is visible on an x-ray of your foot that may tell you if you are at risk of a plantar plate tear, or what changes on x-ray are visible when you have a completely torn plantar plate ligament.
