Is it possible to beat Fallout New Vegas W? What if we tried it on OP10? Can we beat it ON Hardcore Very Hard difficulty? Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 4, and Fallout 76 all have guns that can get pretty wacky, but wacky doesn't always mean good. In this challenge run, we try to beat Fallout New Vegas as an alien! Want to see me try this challenge with a different gun, grenade, or shield? Comment below on what gun, grenade, or even shield I should try next! Any gun in any game (Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Borderlands 1, Borderlands 2, Borderlands the Pre-Sequel, Borderlands 3, Wonderlands)
The Alien Blaster is probably one of the best weapons in Fallout New Vegas, but when you factor in its limited ammo you realize it won't last forever, which creates the question, Can You Beat Fallout New Vegas With Only The Alien Blaster, The rules for this run are simple, The Alien Blaster is the only weapon we are allowed to equip and use, any environmental damage from NPCs is fair game, With the exception of companions because they will not be allowed for this run. And to add some challenges we are going to avoid using VATS and play on Hardcore Very hard difficulty. Our journey starts as a handsome man leaves us for dead in a desolate wasteland, which feels oddly familiar, but to our luck Dock Mitchell manages to save us, as we wake up we can't help but feel anger and hatred towards the human race, I came in peace and they brought violence so they need to be punished, The doc will have my mercy though since he went out of his way to save my life, and made me the most handsome alien in the universe on top of it. A new Alien deserves a new name so I chose the most appropriate one for the alien who will destroy the human race. I set up my stats like this After taking everything of use from doc Mitchel I don’t need strength for anything, I made up a rule that I couldn’t use speech to cheese my way through this challenge, and the alien blaster has a 100% critical hit chance so luck wasn’t mandatory, but gave a small boost to all stats. For my tag skills, I chose Medicine to help with the damage I'll be taking on very hard, Energy weapons because I'm using an Alien Blaster, and Science because I’m an Alien. For my 2 starter traits, I chose trigger discipline to help with landing shots and conserving ammo and Wild Wasteland because the alien blaster does not spawn without it. On our way out we grabbed everything of use from the doc and sold everything not of use to Chet we also stopped by the schoolhouse to grab some extra food and a stealth boy before plugging in the coordinates to the nearest alien ship. Which was pretty much on the opposite side of the map so while we try to sneak past the deathclaws, I’ll tell you guys about our partner Instant Gaming. Instant Gaming has been my go-to place for video game deals, thanks to them I got Fallout New Vegas for under 3 bucks, that’s 7 bucks I saved to buy myself some monsters to get me through this challenge, Instant Gaming has deals on all sorts of games and their deals are hard to beat, no more full-price games, no more waiting for deals, and no more games dying in your Wishlist. stealth critical are a separate modifier from critical, so if you had attacked from stealth you coulda delt 2X more damage to some enemies.

Ammo hotkey glitch solves the only problem you would face in this run, running out of ammo. Just get a bunch of 9mm, grab the 9mm handgun, connect a controller, hold down the hotkey button, move over to your ammo tab, and hotkey the 9mm ammo. This glitch works with any ammo type and any gun (GRA ammo will make the gun you're using fire the special GRA ammo instead of regular bullets)

I genuinely do not understand how people play this game through on V hard hardcore. I already struggle with the carry weight management in this game. Making ammo have weight, and requiring me to stock up on both food and drink instead of just slamming back sunset sarsaparilla and healing limbs with stimpacks is insane to me. Plus hard mode is my perfect feeling game i think, things that should be hard to kill are, but you don't have Legion assassins tanking sniper shots to the dome.

15:49 Im this way with basically every game that has side missions. Including borderlands. You've done a lot of challenge runs of borderlands that made me curious as to how some side missions would go. The circles of slaughter would probably be impossible on op10 for most challenges you've done tho lol

You went through Deathclaw Boulevard? Why not Cazedor Canyon? Just head north out of the graveyard. Its the place people go to get Chance's knife. I like cutting through there cos the Cazadors are easy to sneak around if you take the high road.

I'm guessing you don't know but there's quite a bit of alien blaster ammo in the old world blues dlc, and there's technically not that many enemies you actuality need to kill there if you have high science and int.

as someone who is level 30-40 something and not far enough into anyone's main quest to lock me out of another's faction, i would say i might get a little invested in side quests and murder i have killed little caesar and everything in the strip except for mr house though, and that's only because i refuse to not go in guns blazing and am not strong enough to kill his room full of securitrons yet (and might have accidentally powered them up right before deciding to kill him) also i'm very sad that ED-E didn't make an appearance, easily my favorite robot besides clap trap

guess what : luck was pretty good, 6 is required for the better criticals perk which increases crit damage by 50%, but you also need 6 perception, but it would have been a good way to conserve ammo

Note: FNV will crash if going to multiple load intensive areas at a time. It saves about the last 5 the areas in memory and does not dump the memory until fast traveling or an additional 5 areas have been loaded. As FMV is 32 bit, it will crash once the amount of area data reaches a certain point. I recommend having fast travel in survival just to force dump the memory to prevent pain crashes. When save quitting, enemies usually respawn and your ammo does not. Also, modlist and shaders? Looks great!
