Shera isn't Cid's wife btw. She was just a scientist helping work on the rocket. She cost Cid his dream by him having to cancel the launch so she wouldn't get killed. Cause of that she feels guilty. As atonement for this she was basically like "I'll be your personal maid for the rest of your life". He even states in game Shera isn't his wife. Not justifying Cid being an asshole btw, just explaining that they aren't a couple.

30:40 a lot of the enemies are what you might call “naturally occurring” - humans like the bandits or the Shinra troops, animals like the various wolves and birds and such, the Weapons created by the planet, etc. Then you have “artificial” enemies like the Guard Scorpion and the Air Buster, the experiments Hojo was working on (which also explains all the weird stuff you see in Midgar and Shinra Manor), and normal animals / fiends that were mutated by exposure to Mako. They expand on this more in Rebirth where they directly state that some of the more unnatural-looking fiends only showed up after Shinra started building Mako reactors, but there are hints dropped here and there in the original game that imply the same thing. Then you’ve got things like Tonberrys, Cactuars, and Moogles that are never really explained, they’re just there because it’s a Final Fantasy game.
