We took the Jetsetter palette to the streets of New York-and under the streets of New York-to see how it would hold up on three editors' commutes. Doing your makeup on the subway is never easy, but since this palette works best applied with your fingers, it becomes an added challenge of balancing yourself while not touching the poles. The included mascara is a classic volumizing Maybelline formula, but it can be a bit tricky to get out of the palette without dropping all the brushes in your Uber or on the street. The formulas of the lip balm, shadows, and cheek products are all soft, silky, and light. It's impossible to apply too much or mess it up. But our biggest gripe is with the concealers. Since they only come in two shades, it won't work for every skin tone.
