They can be aggressive at times.

A couple of these ones seemed to be thinking you might feed them. I'm surprised to see them be this fearless when they look like they're currently flightless. And they will chase you away if you approach their nest or young goslings too quickly. Typically they will give warnings like bobbing and rolling their head and hissing first, even putting their neck forward and down which comes right before a charge. They are sometimes unreasonable and attack people who don't even know they're near a goose nest, and who are no threat to them, but they're animals so you can't blame them.

Yep, it's interesting that these guys didn't exhibit fear. Strangely, they seem tame in all of the areas where I've seen them in our city. They're so beautiful!

I didn’t think “Canada” geese would be so far south in the summer.
