Bee balm is my favourite anti fungal. I successfully treated a reoccurring fungal infection that had plagued me for over twenty years. Just by taking the tincture three times a day for four days. That was 10 years ago, it has never resurfaced.

One of my family members was emaciated and at the point of being put on hospice because of a drug resistant fungus. We started a cup of spilanthes and all heal tea, 3 times a day. She didn't die, gained back to a healthy weight and is still with us a few years later. She will never be totally free of which ever fungus it was, but we know what to do if it starts to get out of control again. Never give up!

Unfortunately you can't get in to see doctors and specialists for serious issues post 2020 without waiting a long time. It's forcing more people to go to the hospital for basic care. The medical system is broken. I agree we need to take our health in our own hands to prevent sickness before it starts.

Thank you for addressing this issue. I’m concerned when we believe it is only contracted in hospitals. My husband recently retired from our local hospital, he was an ER charge nurse for over 30years. We remember when patients would come in with MRSA they were isolated, family had to gown up to visit, but then the patient would be discharged at that time they could go wherever they chose using the public restroom or eating in the cafeteria. Then there is the question of the patient being what is known as colonized. We try to eat healthy & exercise but as we age we hope we can maintain.

Keep in mind, of the essential oils that were observed to elicit lethal activity against C. auris, only essential oils of bergamot, lavender, and basil were at safe concentration levels! Coconut oil can also effectively fight candida due to its antimicrobial properties. The combination of lauric acid and caprylic acid found in coconut oil, kills off harmful C. auris through both ingestion and topical application. So use the coconut oil as the carrier and the EO mixture of bergamot, lavender, and basil as your base oil!

I'd like to mention a theory I have about in the house dogs . I may be a complete idiot and I apologize before I say this , But I wonder how many of our dogs are picking up the same yeast spores in our homes over and over again because they might be in our carpets bedding upholstery their beds etc. I have been wondering if we could use a product on every surface of our homes and or yards we could stop them from being reinfected over and over again. Then there is the widespread belief that grains and starches in pet food encourage yeast in our pets. Last but not least could our pets get cross contaminated from our own human yeast problems from our feet or damp folds in our skin. ?

Are there any strains of lactobacillus that stave off candida yeasts? I feel like our "sterilize everything" conditioning has created imbalances with the "good" bacteria that are meant to keep us healthy. Recently, I started spraying lactic acid bacteria on our countertops after cleaning them so the beneficial bacteria are abundant, rather than thinking I can keep them sterile, which allows "bad" bacteria to flourish. I also started spraying our plants with it and they exploded with new growth within a couple days. That led me to come up with a LAB skin spray that I use after a shower so I can replenish my skin microbiota. Feeding the LAB with honey instead of sucrose was a game-changer.

All of the beneficial bugs (like Lactobacillus and her buddies) will compete with yeasts for resources and make their day harder. We definitely want the good guys to outnumber the bad guys. Doc Jones homegrownherbalist.net/about-the-school/

I would love to know how you make your spray! Do you use pro-biotic capsules or yogurt whey or something else?

Years ago, when I was in the saddle & tack business, I had a top notch large animal vet next door who was huge on herbal medicine. Best doctor I ever had. He never said "what you need". He would say "if you were a horse, I'd tell you to do this". Lol. Only doctors I ever trusted is my Chiropractor and my Vet.

Would you say avoiding sugar would be beneficial as far as helping to avoid the fungus among us?
@shara4389

@LifeBeginswithAseed - sugar feeds the bad bugs. You have to starve the little buggers, and feed the good ones so they will outnumber the bad ones. When I say sugar feeds them - I mean any type of sugar (or carbs because they turn into sugar). Not an easy "diet" - but oh, so beneficial!

A friend reached out because he has a virulent staph strain that he picked up while gardening. He's had it for 4 years & doctors can't get rid of it. It keeps popping back up on his nose. I'm thinking of making a salve and including Oregon grape and black walnut. Any others that you would include? After telling me more about his situation I also thought a tincture may be better suited. Any thoughts there? Thank you!
