Candy Washing Machine not Draining Water - Fixed.
In this Video I will show you the steps to take to fix a front loading Candy Washing Machine that wont Drain Water.
Are your clothes coming out wet or your Candy Washing Machine is full of water at the end.
I'll show you how to diagnose a Candy Washing Machine Drainage problem and the Candy Washing Machine Drainage pump filter problem. You may be getting a Candy Washing Machine E03 Error or a Candy Washing Machine E20 Error.
This is a Candy Washer not Draining.
If you still have problems and the Candy Washing Machine won't drain water then it's time to call a Washing Machine Engineer or a Plumber.

Wow, I can't thank you enough for sharing this. Although I had a bit of a flood mishap trying to catch the water, it was totally worth it because now my washing machine is working perfectly again! The filter was clogged with coins, curtain hooks, and little fluff🤣🤣. Thanks a million for being a lifesaver! 🌟

Other washer dryers have a little pipe that comes out to make draining it easier. Why couldn't candy do that? So annoying

Amazing video, thank you! Filter was plugged with 2 reusable cotton face wipes and a hair grip. Washing machine now working as usual!

Btw why do they make the pump so difficult to drain???? I soaked my kitchen before i knew the problem was in the pipe under my sink

Fixed my E20 error code, Should probably set a reminder to empty that quarterly as mine was full of crap

Really helpful video is there anyway to remove the propeller from the filter as there is some sort of string wrapped up behind it

No it’s all part of the pump unit. You’ll have to try to get it out, maybe some long scissors to cut the string or a long sharp screwdriver. Will take time but you need to get that out. Good luck

@@LurgsHowToGuides cheers, I did try the scissors and some plyers but just kept tearing and shortening it… I managed to put the machine on its back and remove the whole pump unit disconnect everything so I was able to work on it properly all back together and working now really appreciate the help :)

Any tips on getting the screw cap off. Mines jammed iv got a little wooden chock either side but feel im going to snap it if I keep trying..

It’s bound to be a metal hair clip. Only tip is to keep untightening then tightening and untightening and hopefully it will clear. I’ve used pliers but you have to be careful as you could break it. Good luck

@@LurgsHowToGuides🤣🤣 That is a consideration too. Money mutates the brain hopefully for good things and not disorder. Living your wife for a new one having destroyed her breath is mean🤣🤣. Anyway my Candy Mod GVS1410DC3B/1-80 filter slot won't open. The white bit screws off and leaves the black things intact and therefore cannot check what evil is going on behind there😤. Any clues, please?

That is what I do...though, from mine, started to get out some plastic as well, with no reason for that. And my drum start to do some awful noise. It is a problem in the drum I suppose though, I really can't figure it out the plastic, lots of plastic. And I am really careful with all my laundry, preventing any thing going in there to damage my washing machine. Any ideas of could be that strange plastic? Thank you for the video.

If you've cleaned out the filter and drainage pipework then it could be faulty pump. Door lock would need replacing unless it still functions ok then don't worry. Hope you can get it sorted.

@@LurgsHowToGuides Thanks for the pump but when I started washer after 30 minutes it showed E03 code during wash. When I cleaned it properly AND IT FLOODES SOO QUICKLY! Im not sure why it floods quickly

Tried all of this and my grand vita O still randomly stops giving E03. It washes fine, drains fine, but randomly stops when it comes to rinsing and spinning. It struggles to spin even with very little in. I’ve even rebalanced the legs right to see if that’s affecting it. Some times it will complete a program but the washing is still soaked and sometimes it adds water at the end! Only other thing I can think of is maybe the connection between the drum and pump is blocked, or the hose end nearest the pump is clogged. I’m at my wits end trying to get it to work properly 😞

@@LurgsHowToGuides It’s 6 yrs old, but has a label saying it has a 10yr parts guarantee (which I stupidly forgot to register for). It’s been gradually doing this more and more the past 3yrs, so I try to deep clean it more regularly, but I don’t think it’s going much. I’ve never had anyone take it apart or look at it, much past me checking the filter. I have two cats and need to wash their stuff regularly, so maybe that doesn’t help the pipes inside. Think I’m more worried of throwing away a machine that still could work fine due to lack of knowledge, especially after this cost me a lot (I’m on low income) and took ages to pay off. I hate to waste money on big buys.

I just got a used one of these and it doesn't drain after a wash but if I then switch it to drain and spin it does drain

mine is doing the same thing today, but its happened after it wobbled off the floor and un levelled itself and got quite violent. think it broke something... is yours still not draining from a normal wash?

It sounds broken. You will need to remove it completely to check and may need pliers, then you can order a spare. Be wary of lots of water though!

Yes. Use a towel or sponge to soak it all up.

Helo! My filter is clean but I can't hear the pump working when the water draining should start. As far as I remember, the pump should be heard, right? Does it mean that the pump is broken?

Could be a faulty pump or a faulty computer board. Depends how old the machine is if you decide to call someone out

Check filter again as sometimes more debris can fall into it after you have removed it. Else it could be a broken pump or a faulty computer board. Hope you can get it sorted. Good luck.

I've undone the filter but unfortunately only the white part of it has come away, the black part has become detached! Any idea how I can remove it? Many thanks.

I fixed this by putting 2 x screwdrivers in the middle hole and pushing them to opposing sides and levering it out💪

Try untightening and tightening multiple times to see if the object clears. It is bound to be a metal hairclip. If not you may have to get a bit more forceful, but be careful as the filter is only plastic. Good luck..
