How to remove and clean filter on Candy Washing Machine prevent Candy E03 Error code which is a Candy blocked pump filter.
In this video I will show you how to remove the Candy Pump Filter (also known as Candy Coin catcher), check for debris, give it a good clean and re-install. It's a common problem and if you get the Candy E03 error code (or possibly a Candy E20 error code) you will need to check & clean the Candy Pump filter.
You should check all pockets in your laundry before starting a Washing machine cycle to prevent a Candy E03 Fault or Candy E20 Fault.
If your Candy Washing Machine is not draining water properly or is smelly, it is likely to be a blocked Candy pump filter.
If you hear any Washing Machine strange noises around the pump filter then don't wait for it to break, clean out that Candy Washing Machine filter as soon as you can. It will save you money and hassle.
How to clean Candy Washing Machine Pump Filter ideally is an annual job if you can do that. The washing machine filter will get dirty anyway. Don't call out someone when you can save MONEY and fix it yourself.
This model is a Candy Alise Washer Dryer but it's the same Filter as the Candy Washing Machine.

We had the same washing machine as this put in, in August 2022. We didn't realise we had to empty the filter. Our previous washing machine was 12+ years old and we never had to do this. We started to notice water seeping up through the floor 2 week ago. So we had a Google of our model and your video came up. 5 months without a filter empty, so as you can imagine it's going to take a while to dry out the kitchen. Thank you for the video, we was literally going to call out the manufacturer, so ultimately that would've cost us a bit of money.

I am not a handy woman by any means at all, but your video was so easily explained and shown that even *I* was able to filter out my washer dryer. My front latch wouldn’t even open to begin with so I was getting really impatient after the half hour trying to pry it. I had to bring my equipment all the way out from under the counter, tip it back and hold it with my thigh as best as I could as I drained the water out into a measuring jug. Turns out, you were right! My partner doesn’t know how to empty his pockets and there were 4 coins in the filter, as well as one jewel from a dress I wore a few weeks ago 😓😅 but my washer dryer is working absolutely amazing right now, so thank you! I needed to feel like I accomplished something in my life lately and so this was exactly what I needed.

thank you soo much, watching this gave me the confidence to deal with my error code rather than trying to call anyone to help. like someone else my previous washing machine only had water retention once and my (now ex) husband sorted it. glad i can be self reliant. im going to make a note to clean the filter regularly so it doesnt create a problem that took 2 hours of draining water before i could clean it . thanks again

Help!! We have a candy machine. It isn’t draining or spinning as of today. And we have checked everything the filter! Drains hose etc. getting error 03 I’m sure it said. But when we take the filter out it’s only the flat white part circular part that comes off. Some water came out but nothing is stuck 😒 any suggestions please

could you help? i have this exact washer, i have unscrewed the white part but the filter is stuck inside and came off the white cap any help on how to get it out?

Maybe stuff an old sock or tea towel inside and then turn it anti clockwise and hopefully it will turn

Hiya sir, My machine filter compartment seem to separate when I attempt to open it. The white. Knob is not attached to the black that leads to the hollow area where the build up of debris.

Oh, sounds like it's snapped. Maybe just remove the whole thing then you will have to order a new filter unit.

The error code 03 is still coming on even after cleaning the filter and dissemble and reassembling the pump all was relatively clean, the drainage hose was slightly bunged up but now clear any ideas anyone please

I need some help. I've tried to remove the filter but only the white round screw part has come out and the black filter part is jammed in the machine and I can't get it out or get the white round part back on it

Oh dear. You will need to use a pair of pliers to undo it then buy a new filter to fit. Good luck

@@samenabegum1992 Yes just have to be very careful not to break the filter, pliers will give you more leverage hopefully. Sounds like you will need to get a new filter anyway

It goes in very easily. Take it out and try again, it should be very easy. Make sure nothing blocking it like an old hair clip or something

Try WD 40 we had the same problem, spray it leave it for an hour wipe with some kitchen roll to gain purchase it flips out perfectly, I hope this helps.

Must be another fault elsewhere. Either drainage pipe is blocked up (does it smell?) or could be a pump fault and it’s stopped working a computer fault. Good luck
