The Canelo vs. GGG 3 official scorecard reveals how the judges scored the Canelo Alvarez vs. Gennady “GGG” Golovkin trilogy fight in Las Vegas.
In a bout that saw Canelo clearly leading on the scorecards early on, the final verdict turned out to be close as he won the bout 116-112 on one judges’ card, while the other two saw him narrowly win with 115-113 scores.
Regardless of how much wider the margin could have been, Canelo emerged victorious with the first unanimous decision win of his three-fight series against Golovkin. Their first bout in September 2017 ended in a controversial split draw, while the rematch a year later ended in a majority decision win for Canelo that was also disputed by fans and critics.
Canelo remains the undisputed super middleweight champion with the win as he retained the WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, and The Ring titles.

GGG was the betting favorite in both first two fights including the rematch when Canelo beat him at his own game and secured the trilogy win.

Meaningless fight Canelo waited for GGG to get old and fights him outside his natural weight, looking for any advantage. GGG deserves better than this and should never have taken the fight, he won the first 2 fights in my opinion and was robbed.

Triple G won the first fight but got cheated out of the win. Fights 2 and 3 Canelo won both of those fights.

For me this rivalry will always been stained. Boxing people know fight no1 GGG walked it After Sca got caught juicing fight no2 a thinner (obviously we know why) Sca fought better but GGG win. No3 GGG worn out aged & Sca won. It’s stained really is a disappointment.
