CB Gitty is great! I buy lots of parts for cigar box guitars from them. Good stuff and decent prices!👍😎🎸🎶

Just ordered one of these and your video makes the assembly nice and clear. One question what is the name of the tune you play right at the end please?

I’m happy that my video was helpful to you. The song at the end is my basic arrangement of “Turpentine Chaser” by Dashboard Confessional. The essence of the song works really on a dulcimer scale.

I always wondered why there had to be so many strings on an instrament while one will suffice

why do these frets have so irregular spaces?
@CircuitsAndStrings3 жыл бұрын
It has a diatonic fretboard. That means all of the notes are in the same key. The unneeded sharps or flats are eliminated. A mountain dulcimer has the same idea.

could i switch the sting it came with for another guitar string?
@CircuitsAndStrings3 жыл бұрын
Yes. But I would probably stick with another unwound string.

Hi! This is a great video, congraatulations! I have a question: that is a nilon string?
@CircuitsAndStrings5 жыл бұрын
It is a metal string. The size .010 inch.

CircuitsAndStrings you think you could use a heavier gauge nylon string for a Mello sound or would there be not enough volume in your opinion?
@CircuitsAndStrings5 жыл бұрын
It might mellow it out a bit. I probably won’t use anything thicker than a wound D guitar string.
