Nice job , this looks to be a great layout, lofts are the best place for a layout as you can escape from the wife.....

This looks like a great layout in the making! My layout is in the loft and I have a Velux window fitted.I am sure you realize this but the sun shining through the window without a blind can cause no amount of damage to track and stock as I found out to my cost in the early days of construction. Looking forward to following progress.

Hi Guys, Many thanks for the comments. As you can see,the layout is effectively a test track at the moment and progress will be slow due to work commitments but i appreciate your comments,help and suggestions. Blinds for the windows are next on the list!! Cheers, Daz

Got you now Paul. As you can see from the video, I've used the whole loft. That big pile of Peco flexi track has all been used now. I want to build it on 2 levels but need the help of layout planners/builders, I think?

Me back again haha :) moving house soon just depends on a few things and i might even end up moving country due to relationships hahaha but i will be gtting my layout on the way soon or one of them.

Ive got mine up too the second level but not to sure how the hell I get it back down because of the room am doing it lol

It's been a while since I watched this video. It does look rather sparse. There's a lot more equipment up there now, however, it is still technically, a very large train set. I've met quite a few talented people in the past(online) or at a great distance from me. My interest lies in computer control & automation( McKinley Railway). What I would like, is for someone with far greater knowledge & experience than me, to help with the planning. I can do the donkey work, just need a technical plan to work to....?
