I got myself a 75-300mm native micro four thirds lens for $300. It auto focuses, gives the same view as a 150-600mm FF lens and weighs just 423g or less than 1 pound. My small m4/3 camera feels better balanced with it. When I first used M4/3rds I got an adaptor to use my Canon lenses. Then I realised I preferred M4/3rds and their professional lenses also cost a fraction of Canon glass, as well as weighing considerably less. The Sigma 150-600mm weighs 1.1kg nearly 2 and a half pounds.

Say what you will about canon and what they offer now, but let’s just say I don’t see a tamron or a sigma lens lasting that long. Thanks for the review!

If you factor in the speed booster is still around $650, which is almost the cost of the 100-300 6.3 from Panasonic (although weather sealed, good autofocus, but far, far slower in the aperture department)
