Remarks/Explanations on subtitles:
0:56 & 1:00 - 個 - 個(go3) is the most common measure word among all measure words. To describe the escalator, another proper measure word is 條(tiu4). E.g. 我喺個電梯下面。/ 我喺條電梯下面。 Both mean “I am under the escalator.”
3:55 - 入便 - Some Hongkongers say 入便 to describe “inside”. But 入面 is a more proper way to describe “inside” or “in”.

For "next to", the correct words should be 隔籬隔離 is actually a verb that means 'to separate', or now as a common word meaning 'to quarantine'

These are technically post-positions. Prepositions refers to part of speech before a noun.

上面 is a more generic / colloquial use of being on top of something, 我坐喺張枱上面 = I'm sitting on top of a desk. 之上 means above and is more similar to 以上, but it could have more literary meaning, e.g., 制度之上有呢啲問題 = on the topic of system there are these problems. 以上 means above mentioned, e.g., 以上嘅問題 - the aforementioned questions / the questions above. Those are the tones :) So tonal languages like Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese etc. distinguish meaning not just with "letter sounds" but also the pitches.

Some of people are illusionists I think. As a fact, lots of people from other provinces of China live in Guangdong, and Cantonese is not so easy to understand, as it is very different from the standard Chinese(mandarin), and it’s not easy to learn. For better understanding and better communication, Cantonese becomes not so popular as before, and this is the essential reason.
