LINDA... SUGGESTION... For your canning book that is coming apart... take the entire book apart... punch it with a 3-hole punch several pages at a time and put into a loose-leaf cover... I think you would love it that way... Alternatively, if the pages fit into clear "sleeves" they could also fit into a binder. I will be trying this ... it looks amazing.

I’m going to can this ASAP! FYI I have heard several say they have had their canning books re bound like a notebook at staples. Maybe that is a possibility for yours.

Yes! I have done this with a couple of very loved cookbooks that belonged to my grandmother. It wasn’t costly, either.

I wish you would come out with a canning book. All the recipes you use, alter and create are amazing. It would be nice to have them all in one spot!!!

Take your canning book into Staples and ask them to spiralize it it’s usually under five bucks and your book will be like new!

I have always water bath canned even though I have owned a pressure canner for 10 or more years..watching these videos have enabled me to not be afraid of my pressure canner anymore!

Thank you for mentioning that pork loins are not so good to can. I was going to can a big pork loin but will not try it now. Hate to waste good pork! I really appreciate your channel!

I have heard this but my pork loin that I have canned has been great. I just don't over trim the fat from it.

I've canned pork loin and it's not bad... My favorite way to use the pork loin is to put a few small chunks in my great northern beans ... Takes the beans to a whole nother level of goodness!

Take all of the pages out of the cookbook, 3-hole punch them, and put them in a 3-ring binder. I've done this with many of my cookbooks and even my teacher's manuals. It works great!

I do the same thing..I use paper towels when I'm cutting up onions and especially garlic..all them little pieces that seem to always get away and haunt me go in the trash

We often do pork loin as a pulled pork roast at our house, I'm happy to see that I can do a butt roast for canning!

Hi, Linda I use paper towel for cracking eggs and cutting onions as you do. I also use a big garbage bowl. I put on the counter. Thanks for sharing with us.

I simply must give this recipe a try. Just sounds so delicious! We cut the big hunks of fat off and put it in the outdoor suet feeder. Wild birds love fat in the winter. Thanks for the Canuary video.

Thank you for saying how good the pork butt taste after canning. Pork Butt was on sale today. My Mom bought me one, I bought one and got one free (long story) 😂. So, my first canning endeavor is going to be your recipe.

One of my favorite things to can is pork. I use all cuts of pork and chunk it up and mix it. Pork loin is not dry this way because it is not just pork loin. Buy on sell and when I get enough I can it all. Not to fatty or greasy but still has flavor. Works well for me. I love canuary and your recipe looks wonderful. Thank you

Great info. Our grocery store just had pork roasts for .99 a pound. I bought two. One went in the oven and the other I am canning. I have the same canning book also. Thanks Linda.

Another lady from different channel took her book to local Staples and had then put a spiral and place clear plastic pieces on front and back. Good idea. I was thinking of doing that to some of my recipe books as well.

Not exactly sure if they still do it but you might want to call and check. Here in Texas some of the Office Depot stores can take a large book and punch holes on the side of the book so it will fit into a 3 ring binder. Then I would suggest you put those hole protectors, since you use your book so often.

Chicken broth does amazing thing with pork. We enjoy pozole and this is basically the first part of that recipe. Thank you for this can’t wait to try.

Love me some spicy Pork. I love all your spicy canning videos. You make it so exciting and give some good uses for the Canned Product. I really could not choose which is my favorite canning video. I love them all But I really love is meeting some awesome canners and being with them in their kitchen.

You might be able to take your canning book to a FedEx/bookstore and they can rebind it for you. I would suggest putting a spiral binding on it. I did that to one of my books.
