@@MerrickCamo520 I can't comment much on Andriod because I don't use it for gaming but this is what I can tell you. To Play Warzard/Red Earth you need to have the ROM AND the CHD (Disk) Files in the ROMS folder. The CHDs need to be in a regular folder (not zipped) with an identical name to the zipped ROM. Also bear in mind that different emulators use different romsets so make sure the ROMs you use are compatible with the version of mame/retroarch core you use. Good luck mate.

@@austinreed7343 That was one of my Favorite things about MMZ, also being able to blast a chunk out of bosses in ZX Advent was cool as well.

This is related to art direction and style, not so much graphics. Great art direction ages well and will usually stand the test of time.

I thoroughly agree with your take on the animation and the artistic direction, it was an ambition of mine for a while to expose this game to a wider audience and it has been an absolute pleasure doing so. I think a console/official PC port would be wonderful, as well as a full blown sequel. A remaster I am not so sure about, this is a game that looks at its best with arcade settings (scanlines, shaders etc) as do all arcade games in my personal opinion. Remastering usually involves messing with graphic fidelity - this game has absolutely no need of that whatsoever and that includes those hideous 2D modern emulator settings that blend pixel detail together leaving classic games looking like shit. A straight port with added options such as GLSL settings and bezels and perhaps mutiplayer and you are golden. Cheers for watching and great comment!

The power of CPS3 is a great thing. SF3, Warzard and Jojo looked stunning. Same, I'd take Tessa in any game over Cammy. We need our Sorceriologist back.

You need the CHD file and the ROM packet for Red Earth and Warzard (which is the original game). It took me a while to find it but it plays great. I've been playing it on MAME version 0.124

As popularity for any retro title grows, it can begin to influence on potential re-releases and remakes but it usually takes a long time and a lot of requests - usually to the point that the publisher sees evidence of making a profit . It seems more likely with titles that are already massively popular or long standing franchises, for example the up and coming Resident Evil 2 remake which started life as a fan project. Capcom, Konami and many others are sitting on so many incredible IP's but with out guaranteed returns no one is taking any chances any more. Capcom are at least still focusing on games some of which have been to a very high standard, Konami its a case of the less said the better.

Worst thing about Capcom, they never seem to even give a proper chance to other franchises. Example, Instead of releasing that new Darkstalker game in a console that might actually sell the game, they decided on releasing it on a portable console, which is not a really popular port for such a game. It's like they didn't really want the game to succeed and only released it as a means to shut fans up. To hell with RE franchise I hope it dies a gruesome painful death, that thing should've ceased to exist after RE 5.

The Oldskool Video Gamer It the unfortunate reality of the gaming industry and in capcom case a lot of things seems to revolve around money but I feel that is truly counterproductive in many aspects. Capcom can release a lot of the classic games digitally it will be beneficial to them in the long term growing a audience little by little wanting more but they don't view things that way. For instance SNK has Been re-release a lot of their older titles digitally which in my opinion is a smart move I mean you can go on the PlayStation Store or the Microsoft store, Nintendo eShop and you can see a lot of the older SNK games there digitally and the prices aren't that bad. Capcom can do the same thing but they refuse to and capcom holds the titles to a higher standard for what it seems like but even if so by keeping them locked behind a volt it doesn't help those franchises it hurts them in the long run. I mean they have so many games that they can re-release or remake, remastered but refuse to and to name a few rival schools, darkstalkers, plasma sword, red Earth, Power Stone, God Hand and even maximo the list can go on and on. Hopefully someday capcom changes it mind and starts re-release or remaking some of these classics but only time will tell and it look like it going to be along time unfortunately.

Both of those characters are supposed to be Ninja, traditionally Shinobi-no-mono (忍の者) and the pose could be an extension of/be inspired by Kuji-kiri ninja hand weaving or Buddhist hand rituals, but I am not entirely convinced by that my self and I am no expert on traditional Japanese Martial Arts - just speculating. I have seen this pose and similar poses before in other games, anime and martial arts movies from across Asia that had nothing to do with the aforementioned ninja. Whatever the true purpose/symbolism is, one thing is clear its supposed to look mystical and cool and they pull it off! Thanks for watching.
