Captain America: Civil War (2016) Pre-Infinity War Rewatch! Comic Book Easter Eggs!

When was the last time you watched Captain America Civil War (2016)? The final chapter in Marvel’s Captain America saga was received with fairly positive reviews from fans and critics, but what did you think? There are so many hidden references to future MCU movies, Phase 2 and 3! After the events of Avengers Age of Ultron, Sokovia being destroyed, Steve Rogers taking down SHIELD/Hydra, the United Nations wants to keep the Avengers in check. Especially after the events in Lagos, where Scarlet Witch tried to prevent Crossbones from killing civilians, but ended up killing people in the process. Now, Avengers have to decided if they will sign the Sokovia Accords and join Team Cap or Team Iron Man.
While this is happening, Helmut Zemo frames Bucky aka the Winter Soldier for a terrorist attack at the UN, that ends up killed this King of Wakanda, T’Chaka. This leads to the Black Panther and Team Iron Man to hunt down Bucky with Team Cap defending him and trying to track down Zemo before more Winter Soldiers are released. We also see the first appearance of Giant Man and Spider-Man in the MCU, so that was pretty freaking rad. Will Cap and Tony be able to come together and stop Zemo? Maybe? Probably? We’ve all probably seen this movie so we know the answer. But there are still plenty of awesome easter eggs that will blow your mind on the rewatch. ...was really dumb. Pete's an obvious fan of Star Wars and they're trying to convince me that he doesn't know the "ice planet" is called Hoth and that the "walking thingies" are called AT-AT? Don't think so! (kinda like how Bruce Banner doesn't know how to pronounce Wakanda... "Wakanada?" He's supposed to be super smart and knowledgable and shit - same for Tony! Why are they dumbing these characters, I don't know)

Doctor Strange is next! Please don't forget the reference to the Netflix shows! Stephen Strange, Nic West and Christine Palmer all work at Metro-General Hospital, the same hospital where Claire Temple worked as an emergency room nurse.

4 months late but figured I'd point out the obvious that the original comment was referring to Doctor Strange being the next movie for the MCU rewatch after Civil War, not that it hadn't been made yet. Might want to chill on calling others morons.

What about the Sharon Carter speech ? At Peggy's funeral with the plant yourself like a tree speech? It's not the exact same as in the comic but if I'm not mistaken that speech is in the civil war comic but is slightly different and said by cap

Crossbones didn't assassinate Cap in the finale of the Civil War comic. His role was to create a distraction, while a brain-washed Sharon Carter assassinated Cap (in the Death of Captain America story, which followed immediately after Civil War)

What I found cool was, one of the words to turn Bucky into the winter soldier was "homecoming". Which I connected to Spiderman "homecoming". As well as this, it was Spiderman's debut in this film

I wonder if the ‘little bit of green’ in the blue of his eyes, is an after effect of the super soldier serum? In the ‘first avenger’ break down you pointed out that serum was similar to the one which created the hulk (who is all green).
