Queen Elizabeth knighted Captain Tom Moore recognizing the 100-year-old for lifting the spirits of Britain during the pandemic. The Second World War veteran raised over $50M for U.K. health workers by walking 100 laps of his garden with the aid of a walking frame.

Sir Tom Moore has managed to serve King George VI and his daughter Queen Elizabeth II. But his real contribution has been serving his people, first holding the arms when his nation needed him and then making something to raise awareness on the health system of his country. What a brave man!

I love how Her Majesty not only thanked him for the good he's done, but took time to chat with him and his family and actively listened to what they said. What a lovely lady!

A well deserved show of not simply respect, but of his extraordinary actions to care for not simply himself but a mass of others. Dealing with the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder the war would have forced into his brain, he has worked to care for others. That by itself makes him an exceptional human being. I am fond of him!
