@AJ P the tin hat morons like you are the problem. everything's a conspiracy... some of us are rational, logical thinkers and that doesn't make us "sheep". Just because some of us dont buy into your conspiracy theories, how does that make us slaves to propaganda? .. one could argue the silly morons who believe anything anti-authority are the real sheep.... I am in no way a blind believer of the media, in fact I dislike the mainstream media for it's current destruction of free speech and trying to label everyone with a different opinion as "racist, fascist or bigot".. however it doesnt mean I believe every silly conspiracy circulating. what makes your sources more valid than anybody else?

It looks like it's a bunch of tin hats looking though some of the comments. Seems at least one person believes that the Nazis were the good guys, and WWII was all a big propaganda campaign. Some people are just messed up in the head. (No offense to anyone with a genuine mental illness, I'm talking about tin hats)
@lachlanp3365
@lachlanp3365 4 жыл бұрын
@zeddy mcdog Nah it was a different commenter they basically said if the other side won in ww2 we would no longer have wars. And the Ally's were the bad guys. (Unfortunately in war it's all shades of grey) I assume the person I was making reference to was ether a troll or must have used a lot of tin foil for there hat. Sorry if you thought I was making reference to yourself, I did look though the comments trying to find out why someone would dislike the video, as it's a feel-good piece.

I have asked this question many times on clips like this, some clips such as a deaf baby being given the gift of hearing for the first time and its amazing reaction. I can not imagine many(other than the odd nutcase) disliking these clips but apparently KZfaq has an automation system that does it to add a little balance, according to some of my responses anyway....

Previous month I was able to gather my first five figure income ever!!! I've been working for this company online for twenty four months now and I never been happier... They are paying me $95 per hour, and the most important thing regarding it is that I am not that tech-savvy, they just required standard insight into internet and basic typing skill...The best thing about it is that now I have more free time with my family. I am in a position to spend quality time with my friends and family and take care of my babies and also going on vacation along with them very frequently. Don't let pass this chance and make sure to respond quickly. Here’s what I do *acttoday48.com*

It's always a privilege to see and hear the Spitfire and Hurricane. They epitomise the courage, struggle and determination necessary to rise up when the chips are down and triumph against all odds. Colonel Tom Moore is a remarkable man, born of a remarkable generation, who can appreciate the magnificent spectacle, but also truly understand what these aircraft represent. " I've seen them fly in anger and today they fly in peace"....courage honour and humility. The perfect sentiment to 'all' concerned in this very fitting tribute. Happy 100th birthday sir !

During the second world war there was a small aerodrome there and many polish pilots came and lived there doing immeasurable service for freedom. Many families from the polish community still live there. Without their bravery and skill along with the raf who knows what we would have faced. @@joshbrown5034 My grandfather, who was the Chief of Staff of the Lodz Army, was killed on 19.09.1939 in a lap between the Nazi and Soviets. The second grandfather, who was only a captain but commanded a battalion, was seriously wounded in the largest battle of 1939 on the Bzura River. He spent the war in the German "oflag" camp, and after its end and return to Poland he was persecuted as an officer by the communists. Uncles fought in England, one in Tobruk, Monte Casino and Rome, and the other in arm with the English in the armored division from Normandy through Belgium, the Netherlands, to Wilhelmshaven. He remained in England, graduated and worked as a designer and partner throughout his life for Ove Arup & Partners International Ltd. He died in London. Both headmasters respected and liked the British, expressing very flatteringly about their courage, bravery and love of freedom and independence. I hope that you will also quickly and efficiently defeat the epidemic as befits proud British people. Greetings from Poland, more precisely from Krakow. Piotr

Happy birthday to Captain Tom ! Thanks for posting this! My father was in the Cold Stream Gaurd during WWII. He was fascinated with the Spitfire and told us how it changed the war. Unfortunately I lost him in 2017 at the age of 90 . This story reminds me of his smile when he talked about these amazing aircraft.

What he’s done to repay the NHS is great. I would hope that any doctors in the NHS who prefer not to keep ill older people alive, (I am sorry to say I know some) reappraise this attitude.

Murali Dharan, that’s the justification they give but I think it’s a bit more callous than that. To our shame many of the WWII generation, ended up dying pretty undignified deaths on NHS wards before their time (if they had received proper treatment).

@No1 Jack okay I'm not. However for the record I've lived and worked in a number of countries. I have a very good education. I went to one of your top universities in fact. I'll tell you my impression of Britain. It hasn't been any kind of superpower for perhaps a hundred years. However they live in the past IMO. Spitfires for Tom. (He's a great character) Nothing wrong with that but it's as if the UK are harking back to the past with that symbolism! In fact it's all they've got. Brits generally hanging on to a lovely 100 year old man. Europe or Japan own most of the cars built there. Water and power owned by the French. Freight trains by the Germans and I believe 40% of the train passenger services in most parts of the UK. So Toms comments are totally out of touch when he said "Spitfires got angry".....it's not modern day reality. I've just told you why. As for WW2? More reality. After Dunkirk Brits were finished. Luckily for them Japan bombed Pearl Harbour. Thousands of GIs spilt blood on Normandy beaches. Just watch "Saving Private Ryan". USA Bombers were technologically superior. They flew at heights where they were hard to hit! Their bombs were bigger! AND those 19-21 yrs old pilots. Just kids after all. IF it wasn't for all that Brits would be speaking German. Reality! You've never acknowledged it or said thanks! You'd rather the myth of the nice old man, who in reality took his orders from an American at Normandy. Then off to sort out the Japanese.....ALONE! Why bother? Because you've just typified what I've just told you; haven't you?
