Wade fishing around this Island produced some quality fish! Join along with me as I start the morning off throwing some topwater for Speckled trout and later on bouncing a Slick Lure along the bottom for nice size flounder just a few feet from where I'm wading!

Rule # 1, always carry a stringer when wade fishing. Rule #2, make sure it's a 12 foot stringer or longer in case a bull shark wants his share of your catch! Great video!

So nice seeing them make a comeback. I was doing a lot of gigging right before they started to disappear. I walked lots of shallow water only seeing 6-12” fish and eventually just quit going.

I was on an Island in Titusville, Florida fishing for Trout and Redfish and lost my boat for a bit. Was using my net to get bait and the anchor pulled. Turned around and the boat was about 50ft away from shore. It was funny as hell (now). Began to swim for it and another boater took me to it. Never happended again.

That was a fun video to watch. The size of those slick baits was something else. Just to look at them you would think no way a flounder is going to eat that. But yet not only did they eat them but they inhaled them.

I've always thought the same, but it seems like everytime i cut the stomach out of a flounder and see what its been eating i always seem to find large finfish (3-6") such as mullet, pogies, and croaker. needless to say, i don't hesitate using a larger profile bait anymore.

What kind of motor ya running on your aluminum boat? I've always wondered how the saltwater effects them

That motor was an older model mercury Bigfoot 60hp. Never had an issue with it, we've since repowered with a 4 stroke Suzuki 60hp

They do,but you have to be grandfathered in for the licenses and renew it every year or you’ll lose it.
