It doesnt matter what car it is, to a car guy every car is special and worthy of customizing. I spent thousands and thousands on Fiat Punto. But I dont regret it and never will. It was my first car. To me it was worth it. It was mine it was unique and special to me. The only people who can understand this are car people. We will never change, thats the way it is. 🤷🏼‍♂️ you all can make jokes and call us pathetic but we dont care. 🙂

Im all for people loving cars and loving their passions. I personally love cars, and ive spent quite a bit on my car, but the key is to stay within your budget, put things together slowly and save up for the things you want before you go into debt for them.

I found this programme relatable in ways but at the same I 100% agree with your statement! Sometimes I wonder why I haven't gotten as far I've liked to with my car in terms of mods but then I realise that's the price of doing things within your means. I suppose when it comes together I'll feel better about not going into a shit tonne of debt over it and I can enjoy other things in life at the same time.

This was exactly what people need to heal from addiction. This was an all around metamorphosis. No more identifying as the car, no more smoking (so many of the people on this show smoke. See here how much it costs your money and your health) bring in the spirit of acceptance and openness to people. Let's make it okay for everyone to say how they feel and what they need emotionally. Here's to mental health.🎉

I honestly can't comprehend the hobby of cars to be honest. To spend thousands of dollars and put in countless hours of effort into something that will probably last for 5-10 years just seems absurd to me. Cars should be seen as a utility, to get you from point a to point b. Having a cool car is nice and all and as a guy, I can respect it, but only if you can feasibly afford the repairs, taxes, insurances, fuel, etc.

Except when you sell it and be lucky to get a grand for it... unless its an m3 maybe...lol. I have an e46 m sport 320 diesel coupe ... had it 5 years and hardly spent anything on it, except lowering springs, and few minor mods. Bought it for 5 grand be lucky to get 2 for it now and only has 121k on it. The 2 litre diesels out perform the 2 litre petrols too... though not the case with the 330's lol

@@AuralAttack it's not your everyday e36. M50b30 turbo with 650whp. A bit more than a grand. Are you in uk. M3 e36's get serious money

See, maybe I'm a bit jaded. But after some stories I've heard this doesn't seem so bad. His debts at least aren't more than he makes in a year.

If that's credit card debt the interest rates can snowball to 220000 for him. But 30+ year fixed interest rate on a house is different.
