I have the real carbon fiber trim in my 2022 Charger... I wanted it in my 23 Challenger but you have to order by February. If they made one that wasn't glossy I would buy it but I guess I'll skip it for now. Good video. 🙂. It's too bad they didn't bevel the edge to make it fit cleaner. I would even like a mat black.

Could always try out the matte carbon fiber wrap. I used it on my jet ski.

@@str8speed919 That's a good idea. I wonder how it will hold up? I tried some after market clear plastic on the hood of my Subaru and it cracked within 2 years versus the X-Pel so I'm already the septic. Lol

Question? What did you do with the stitching? I love the orange in my Charger, and the red in my WRX. I was wondering if there is something I could do to the Challenger and maybe do green to match the F8?

I have a new 2021 Scatpack and I’d like to add these overlays but I’m probably more OCD than you; I think I’d hate the gaps. It’s been some time since you did this video; did you keep it on? I think from your comments that you were probably not going to be happy after the newness wears off. If you took it off, did the tape damage the factory trim?

Looks nice ,but I would be concerned about the 3m tape it comes with. I would remove thiers and put my own 3m tape. I bought an overlay for the steering wheel and the tape kept popping off, I redid it and now it looks factory. Good luck with growing your channel, I just got a 2018 HC charger and I really love it :)

ABS Hydro dipped I believe. Can’t really remember and I no longer have the car.

Get the ABS carbon fiber, it looks the same just not real carbon fiber

He used fake carbon fiber (abs plastic hydro dipped in a carbon fiber print). You can get them on eBay for the low for $35 and real carbon fiber for like $65
