Where could I find more information on my state's redistricting? Such as how often it happens and how it has changed? Love your vids, very helpful!

I think it's also important to note that this kind of districting to guarantee a minority-majority could also have negative effects. Yes, the minority-majority would elect a candidate who would also be of the minority, therefore increasing said minority's representation. BUT, by districting so that one district has a minority-majority, you are decreasing minority populations in other/adjacent districts. While it would be unlikely to secure a minority candidate immediately, interracial districts can provide an environment to decrease racial bias when voting for representatives. This would ultimately decrease the minority's influence on a larger scale. I'm not saying that majority-minority districts are a bad idea at all, I just think it's worth mentioning this downside. Thank you!
