I'm Filipino American and my #1 favorite food is Trini food. I just love the light curries, tamarind, shadow benny and a nice buss-up-shot or paratha. Plus doubles and a sweet juice. Catch me on Liberty Ave out in Richmond Hill or up in Toronto at your favorite roti shop. Also, my favorite accents are Trini, Dutch and Singaporean. I love how Trinis sound like they are always concerned about you, reassuring or worried about your well being with their accent. 🤣 It's very comforting. Like a grandma wanting you to come in from the cold so that she can cook you a hot Trini meal - that's how they sound when they talk. 🤣

I went to Jamaica as a kid, we left the tourist areas and went to a tiny hole in the wall restaurant/club. It was locals only besides us, people dancing to a live Calypso band and the most delicious food I'd ever had. I've got to get back!

Very good spot with Great food! Gotta try some of the Spanish restaurants in allentown. If you want chopped cheese or a cheesesteak . Smp mart is the spot. In August jl Jupiter, you and your family should go music fest in bethlehem.

JM, there's no way this spot has better doubles than Trinciti. 🤣Trinciti is on point with their doubles. It's not about stuffing the entire kitchen in the doubles, but rather only the perfect ingredients so that you get the intended harmony. If you want proper, proper Trini food you have to go to the Toronto, Canada area. That city has better Trini food than Trinidad itself. That's why Drake sometimes has a Caribbean accent - because half the city are from Jamaica, Trinidad, Guyana, Barbados etc.

Only Trini food I've ever had was from Trini Quizeen in Dover, DE. Food was amazing, and I'd like to try this place as well. Hearing she came from retail is crazy too, coincidentally Trini Quizeen's owner came from retail where her and my mom became friends. Similiar stories, just awesome!
