Another study by Carl Czerny that I spent the last 2 months working on. This piece is great for developing evenness between hands when creating one longer line split between them.
While it can be practical to use a single hand with long arpeggio fingering (i.e. the usual thumb-crossing pattern), this exercise is meant to help develop a sense of 4-note chord groupings within the single octave range. It certainly taught me much about the relative position of keys, and patterns within a beat. I am sure I could spend longer on this piece, but it is time to move to something new and get fresh stimulus to my fingers.
So, for now, enjoy!
