LOVE how the creator gave us a bit longer to focus on the facial expressions of Obi-wan. You can see the betrayal, pain, and heartbreak in his eyes

Genuinely blown away. The attention to detail all throughout, remaining faithful to the source, yet adding some extra flair. Would love to see this done with the other duels or action sequences from the films. Truly impressive.

Honestly, I don't think people ever give credit to how much trauma Obi-Wan suffered at Mustafar. Imagine having raised and loved someone for over a decade as a brother and a pupil, and first seeing them turn into a child-murdering monster.. but then having to put that monster down by your own hand, look at his mutilated, howling form as he hurls curses and hatred at you.. and then, finally, have to watch as flames slowly and agonizingly consume him right before your eyes. That's the kind of thing that will wake a man screaming in cold sweats in the dead of night.

Fun Fact: If you pay close attention to Anakin's Eyes when he says "You Under Estimate My Power!" His eyes turn Sith Yellow. Anakin is using the Dark Side of the Force to his advantage. A Nice touch of detail

This is really spectacular. Even just as a nice splicing of the fight being one scene, without the Yoda plot interwoven. I like the choices to fill the gaps between the scenes we know too!

I think my favorite part of the animation is the rain effect on the clone armor, it’s just so good. That part is so realistic. My favorite part of the entire video is the blend between Anakin and Obi Wan discussing Ahsoka and Anakin being a disappointment then cutting straight to Mustafar. The things Star Wars fans can create is astonishing.

This is why star wars will survive, because of the FANS... its been a long while since ALL star wars fans are united and LOVING a project, made with just love and passion... This is star wars

Fun fact; at 13:02 , if you turn your volume WAY up, you can hear Anakin say “padme help me” this line is also in Episode III, but EXTREMELY difficult to hear and understand, as Anakin’s lungs were pretty much incinerated

The unfinished scene/episode, deleted scenes from the movies, the classic Anakin spin behind the back multiple times during the fight, Anakin's brief reverse grip. I can't believe how well this was made. You could even hear Anakin/Vader whispering "Padme help me" to, much more obvious in this than the movie. I think that was Natalie Portman, but her and Cat Tabor's Padme sound so similar it's almost impossible to tell the difference. The clones without helmets at the end were also the same as TCW which was great.

Hayden and Ewan's footwork is amazing 👏

When I first saw this, I assumed they used the audio from the film. But that is clearly Matt Lanter’s voice, and not Hayden Christensen as Anikin. I had mad respect for this before I noticed that fact… now I’m just blown away. I feel like they used some kind of motion capture for this. The only other time I’ve seen the movements that fast is during the Asoka vs. Maul fight in season 7. And they brought Ray Park to choreograph the fight on real people, then mo-cap it. Ray even reprised his roll as Maul’s body for the mo-cap.

The lava in Mustafar graphics look out of this world, glad you enjoyed it, , God bless 😀

I've said it before, the attention to details is just crazy. We have Nick Gillards choreography from deleted scenes from Ep.3. Before Anakins final jump his eyes change from blue to yellow. We can see Obi-Wan has watery eyes when he says "you were my brother Anakin, I loved you". Anakin says "Padme help me", that is such a great touch. The frickin' water on clone armour? Bruh that's just next level of animation. Overall, phenomenal job!

One thing I’ve always thought about RotS is how no matter how many times I watch it I will always get emotional and goosebumps during the duel and the death of Anakin and the birth of Vader. Not many films can accomplish this but RotS just brings it every time. And then to see it in animation! It’s brings the feels all of again but in this new harsher light. Like seeing animated Anakin burn, I’m thinking, that’s my Anakin! The master of Ahsoka, the hero of the Clone Wars, all those thoughts going through my head and it’s all so chilling. Those who made this animation are true heroes and I can’t wait to see if they make more.

Loved it! That Vader breathing sound is a true bone chiller! We need a Vader show that shows his true power and not the watered down versions we get!

ive heard about this project being in the works since Clone wars season 7. basically was inspired by how emotionally breath taking and how much depth was filled in for the story by Ahsokas perspective of Anakins turn. i got so many chills from this fan film omg

This was by far the best fan film I’ve ever seen. I especially love the opening scene which gives some context to how Anakin felt about ahsoka leaving the order. Such a well done animation.

Love how they got the detail of the face plate going on the mask you can hear the “padme help me” line

13:00 you can hear Anakin say “Padmè, help me” when the mask gets put on. Its just so sad. I never noticed it until a few years ago and now I hear it every time.

The fight from Ep. III is cut up and interposed with cut up fight between Yoda and Palestine. It's actually nice to see this duel uncut.

This animation was really really good. I was absolutely amazed at how well this looked! The 3 year wait was well worth it!

I really like how they added in a few extra scenes to show how the fight progressed, it adds so much life to the battle, and is better than the original imo

It's harder because we grew up with the animated duo. The prequels were our Star Wars, but we spent years with the clone wars characters.

They did use some additional new lines for this because Matt Lanter didn’t do the voice for the original revenge of the sith which just shows how amazing of a job they did.

Bruh, Amazing! But they didn’t show him do the scream “NOOOOOOOOOOO!” Because that shows his alternate force ability. It’s impactful because you feel his pain at the loss of his last love in his life.

I had the exact same reaction as you when I watched that yesterday for the first time. Animation really just hits so different since you can do so much more with it than live action. This easily is the best Fan made Star Wars media ever, and that's while we're in a World where Maul Apprentice exists. Btw, Happy New Year! 13:20-13:55 Actually, that was Natalie Portman's voice during this scene, not Catherine Taber's. Without a doubt, this is my #1 favorite Star Wars fan film. The Obi-Wan vs Anakin duel on Mustafar from ROTS is my #1 favorite lightsaber duel in the entire franchise, so seeing it in TCW animation was a dream come true. I really enjoyed seeing your reaction to this, Carly.

I'd say they may have used some amount of motion capture for some of the movements, similar to what was done for Clone Wars: Season 7 Episode 10: The Phantom Apprentice.

I grew up on the Star Wars movies, but something about RotS and the music just hits me. I haven't watched it, or really anything SW (Besides Andor) in years. And yet, seeing the animation style that is so distinctly Clone Wars, the music that is so distinctly the movie, and the little details that remind me of the RotS video game. It just takes me back. And when you think it's over, it just keeps going.

Watching this version of the duel and outcome of his fall, just simply wow and I can't explain he words to describe. Idk i cant tell but there is alot of talk when the vader mask is being put on you can hear anikan say padme help me, or something like that. Its whisper.

The quality on this is top tier. I got full body chills as well seeing Vader stand up for the first time. The more I watch this fight, the more I appreciate John Williams.
