CARMAX Lots Are OVERFLOWING! They're In SERIOUS TROUBLE!
In this video we talk about CARMAX. I take you to CarMax's lot and show you just how full it is and how expensive their cars are. It's clear that CarMax is in trouble and their prices aren't sustainable!
My name is Brandon and I am a used car dealer. I created Car Questions Answered to share the ins and outs of the used car market from my perspective. I share with you updates on car prices, what's happening at the dealer auctions, and what it's like being a dealer. My goal is to share information to help you make the best decisions while buying a car to save you money. I do not want car dealers taking advantage of you.
Thanks for watching and please feel free to leave any comments you may have in the section below!

Thank You So Much, for all your information and advice! Your YT collaborations, are awesome, too. In mid January '24, I found and bought a 2017 Toyota Camry LE, one owner, low mileage 69k, great condition. It was 17,500 OTD, in Denver, Co. It, was from a mom & pop family dealership. The car looks brand new. I could not wait too long, to get the car cheaper, bc I was without a car. May God Bless You 😊

Years ago I bought a couple of cars from Carmax. That was when regular dealers were not being competitive and honest with their used car inventory. Now those dealers have woken up that they were losing a lot of business to places like Carmax and Carvana and are now offering better competitive deals on their used inventory. In fact, they are doing better than the big national wide used car retailers.

My current 2016 Hyundai SE was bought from CarMax back in January 2019 for $12,998 and it had only 21k miles. I paid my car off in 4 years and now enjoying this paid off car with no intention of buying another car in the next four or so years. Currently the car just turned to 77k miles on the way home for work and has been spot on dependable needing only a battery and two sets of tires. I cannot imagine buying a Ford Focus with 95k miles with that putrid automatic transmission! I lucked out and had my 22 year old bought new 1997 Ford Escort bite it back in January 2019 just before the market went nuts. I would have bought another Ford (was a Ford owner for almost 40 years), but Ford stopped building cars and the ones you could buy new were worthless after that transmission fiasco. I've very happy as a Hyundai owner.

The dealers are having trouble selling over priced crap from their lot, so what do they do... Hang on to it until they HAVE to take it to an auction where other dealers buy it for cheaper and the original dealer loses money..... Why..... Then if they are going to lose money on it ANYWAY....
