I think what Danielle was saying was that she killed the other science team members because if rescue came, she didn't want them to spread their infection beyond the island. She never says that she was infected, only them. So it would be safe for her to be rescued, hence the distress call.

The actor who plays Ethan looks familiar because he is Tom Cruise's cousin. But he's also an accomplished character actor who has been in a lot of shows.

I don't think its a spoiler to tell you to pay attention to names. John Locke is actually the name of a famous philosopher.

Just like you, I watched LOST (on DVDs) after I finished BSG. It was the only other series that appealed to me at the moment. And I binge watched 3-4 episodes every night, until I finished. Nearly every episode ends in some kind of “cliffhanger”. Very tempting to watch another episode, and another, and another, non-stop…! 🤷🏻‍♂️

To understand what whispers are saying you have to listen to audio backwards. It's the second time whispers appear in Lost so far - fist time they were heard in Pilot Part 1 (first at the beach, next in the cockpit scene). In this episode (Solitary) when Sayid hears them, the whispers are saying exactly this: Male Voice- "Just let him get out of here" Male Voice- "He's seen too much already" Male Voice- "What if he tells?" Female Voice - "Could just speak to him" Male Voice- "No"

I think when you actually get halfway through this season you should figure out who your favorite (and least favorite) characters are and why. And then do that again at the end of the season and so forth. Your list will forever evolve and change. Also, Sawyer reminds you of Dean Winchester, not in full but in large part because they share the same vocabulary. There's other nuances as well, such as motivations, childhood trauma, etc, but yeah the big thing is the vocab. They both say "son of a bitch" A LOT. You're definitely not the only fan of both shows to make that connection. Also also, I just have to say THANK YOU so much for being genuinely empathetic to these characters. So far you haven't been outright nasty about literally anyone (namely Kate) and I can't tell you how nice that is. You're giving everybody an actual chance to reveal their true selves and grow on you before deciding to hate anyone and proceed to condemn their every move. Now I just need you to upload like one episode every day of the week and we'll be solid 😂

I could also name some other famous surnames used in the show, but it's a spoiler at this point (or isn't - I don't know; it's just that the people haven't appeared yet).

I think Sawyer grows on the audience first because we see his other side. We see him being vulnerable, or feeling bad for being an ass to someone. He only let's the other survivors see his asshole persona. This is the first time he makes an effort.

Filming the show ( the vast majority on Hawaii ) took a lot of effort to avoid areas with civilization or just random tourists trying to see part of the show being made.

What a surprise. A woman likes the lovable rogue Sawyer. But seriously, it's been mentioned by others and now yourself, you really should consider two episodes a week. (and a few re-watches) Otherwise it will take you close to three years to get through the whole series.

The actress (RIP) who plays Rousseau has an awful accent when she speaks french. But she doesn’t speak french a lot, so it is ok.😊 But the production could take a french actress for this role, like they took a Korean actress for Sun or an australian actress for Claire. Danielle says her team got sick. And, as luck would have it, one of the passengers developed a skin disease. 🤔

The first 2 seasons were 24 episodes each. After that they dropped down into the teens. LOST fans were happy for as many episodes we could get.

...even though Sawyer acts like a dick, the show makes you like him, I think, because we want to see him be better, and we think he could be. So we keep waiting, to see if he can be a better guy or not. I need more specificity....yeah, good luck with that. She didn't say watch for signs in your peeps, she said, 'watch them closely'.

I love Carmen’s reactions, but it is going to drive me mad that she is watching these episodes almost as slowly as they were released originally. At this rate it will take 68 more weeks before we see [no spoilers] my favorite episode “The Constant” with my favorite character. And we won’t even be halfway through the series then. Carmen: a kindly request to watch a couple episodes at a time maybe.
