❤Rachel yes I remember my Dad using his mocajeta every other day also. On Saturday was his breakfast ,he would come to our rooms and say “how many eggs you want? He would make that salsa and transfer it to a pan but some cheese on top the serve it on top of the over easy eggs with sausage and bacon 🥓. As soon as I heard that sound I wanted to cry 😢 Thank you Rachel for your awesome videos . My Dad and Mom were from Texas ,San Marcos Texas 🎉😊

Dear Rachel, I ate a full supper and a dessert just a couple of hours ago, but watching this video my mouth is watering! I love everything you do, every step you take, to show us the very best way to have authentic Mexican food. Most modern Cooks would simply throw the ingredients into a blender, pulse it a couple of times and call it done. You, however, take the extra step and care to do it right, the way it should be done. Bravo!

@rachelcookswithlove4 жыл бұрын
I love cast iron, once seasoned you can cook just about anything on them, they come in all sizes and are a great investment, I have a Le Creuset collection (expensive but worth it) for casseroles and soups and small saucers too, cookie sheets from restaurant supply stores, they last forever, my knives are a big combination, from filet knives to bread knives, for daily use I tend to use my kitchen aid knives more and my chicago cutlery...my advice is buy 1 good piece at a time (unless you can afford more) and slowly collect the best to last a lifetime...that's what I've done...hope it helps, will do a video on what I have one day I think. Thank you.❤

Que delicia! I'm about getting ready to make some eggs for our breakfast and sure would love your molcajete of salsa right now. Oh my goodness how many cookouts did have growing up in the good old RGV. I especially love your marinade my amiga as I'm always looking out for new ones and I like the idea of orange juice which I've never used before in a marinade for fajitas. Looks as soon as I finished typing this, I'll be headed to buy fajitas for dinner tonight. And of course it's soy fajitas for Johnny but I can certainly use the marinade for his. Thanks again my sweet friend and sure do hope you and your Ron have a perfect weekend. Lucky y'all aren't in Texas as the heat has set in and the temps are in the 100's. Blessings and love as always sent your way.
