I grew up watching Carol Burnett's hour-long variety show. It was one of the funniest shows ever! Carol and regular cast members Harvey Korman and Tim Conway were hysterical, and it was as much fun watching them crack up during the skits as it was watching the skits themselves. Carol's cousin, Vickie Lawrence, was not as much of a comic like the others, but she was great with her supporting roles, and of course she was cute!

Carol Burnett is a legend! I think most if not all actors/comedians/entertainers have at least one dud in their careers. I think the first show needed more time to catch on but the second show just wasn't going to work. Times were changing which meant certain shows were no longer popular. So sad and disrespectful that CBS said no to a tribute to the legendary Carol Burnett.

The new Carol Burnett show, an exercise in "You can't go home again," had too many regulars and tried too hard to do "Saturday Night Live"-style satire which wasn't Burnett's humor at all. The episodes guested by Roddy McDowell and Christopher Reeve were charming, but you can't recreate what worked 20 years earlier any more than you can bring back the era itself.

The real stinker was ‘’Carol and Company’’. A disturbing, negative-minded mess that came across like depictions of someone’s psychotherapy - and as funny as a toothache. Was all for it, but just couldn’t take the ugliness.
