Carol was a PRO. She should have done the film. I saw her many times on stage. She always brought the house down. RIP

I had the privilege of seeing her live many times, in various productions of Dolly plus other shows and concerts. Always a pro. Always consistent and giving 100%. A true theatrical treasure, I loved her every time.

she had so much energy up till the end ! I hope I'm like her in my later years. Phenomenal lady, not everyone was fond of her voice but I think she was a true force !

It was a crime they did not cast her in the movie version. Barbara Streisand was totally miscast as Dolly. Carol Channing totally owns that role, and no one will never match her Dolly.
