I brought 2 in the grey and am crocheting a shawl in it. I love the drape and feel of the yarn so far. I will have to get some to try knitting. Your knit fabric looks so beautiful!!

I did not know how to find the end/open it and have been researching and found your wonderful video!! I snapped the ripcord and now it seems to work. Thank you so much.

@@CNYWoman it did!! they put the instructions inside the tiny label which I finally found once I was able to pull the ripcord. No help at all!

@@CNYWoman Also, I love this yarn and need to get more colors before they discontinue it. But did you find this to be more like a 4 yarn than a 5?

Hi, I don't live too far from you, about two hours away. I just bought this yarn too and will have my review up on it tomorrow. It's nice to see it knitted up in comparison to crochet.

thank you for your honest opinion. it looks so much different when you have it knitted up than what it looks like on the Joann web site. i was wondering if it is anything like the Caron Latte cakes? i need to wait for a great sale or santa brings me some.

Hi there - Joann has all yarn 25% off now. Some stores have this yarn in stock and if you buy online and pick up, you get extra 25% off with coupon. Yes, this is similar to the Latte, but the “center” or core strand of the yarn is a bit thicker, a bit less slippery than the Latte. This is not a bad thing, imo. It gives a little more stability and ease of stitching, imo. I’m using a J metal hook now and the yarn is working up beautifully. Frogs easily, glides over my hook. I’m definitely buying more. Happy stitching!

Added: This is classified as a 5 weight. I think it’s more a thick 4, or thinner 5.

I have never used Latte Cakes. But the yarn is super soft.

I hadn't been interested in the Ogo yarn so far but now I'm very interested in the Halo Ogo. Is just like the latte cakes or a little different ? Thanks for sharing !

I have never used latte cakes so I can't really speak to it. Halo is soft and a little fuzzy.
