Hi Rhys. That’s not a bad idea. I have been thinking about some product videos… after buying (and returning) a rotary cheese grater by ApolloHousewares from The Range. Cheapest, nastiest bit of plastic with a metal ‘grinder’ that only produces cheese fluff if you press the cheese in directly over the actuator. And it cost £4.45!!! Anyway, yes I’ll see about doing a video. Thanks for asking. Heads up, my iGSport iGS618 is still on Amazon and it stores many trips for eventual upload to the iGSport website. I used to use Strava, both sites take data from this device but you get more features from the iGSport site. Cheers!

Yes, completely agree with you. My new crossfire is hydraulic but not had to touch the brakes yet after 18 months. Dare say it’s on the cards next year.

Hi. Yes it was. The first bag I bought didn’t fit very well, rubbish actually. But when I bought the E-Crossfire )see other video) I transferred the rack and bought two new panniers that just drop on, perfect. Holds up to 25kg.

Hi. Not an expert but apparently, you can fit mountain bike tyres on 700c rims. These rims are 28”, mountain tyres are 29” but fit. Personally, I’d pop into your nearest Halfords and check with them since it is they who supply this bike. Cheers.

Hi, I bought just a small pump that fits on a bracket attached to the frame. The vale type is Presta and the pump can do both Presta and Schrader. The pump is Topeak, RaceRocket from Halfords.

Hi I am 5ft 4, I went into halfords today and rode this bike around the shop. It was a medium which was the perfect size for me. didn't need the seat adjusting was perfect as is

That’s what I thought about mine. When I looked closely, the hand grip had a flat black disk on the end that looked part of the grip. I realised it was an insert and prised it out. The handlebars are hollow. In the unusual event that your grips don’t have a separate end cap, you’d probably have to cut out the circle. I’ve had 3 crossfires and never known the bar ends to be permanently blocked, there are a number of attachments specifically made to fit in the bar ends. Have a close look.

Hello Jack. Thanks for your comments. Yes, took me a bit to figure it but this is how they work. Both tubes work independently of each other. As you sit on your bike, the right side tube has lock/unlock. If you turn it to Lock, you have no suspension, as you brake or go over bumps, you’ll feel the bumps and the bike won’t dip. When set to Open, suspension works normally. The left tube controls how soft or firm your suspension is. Turn anticlockwise and it goes softer, more travel. Turn clockwise and it gets stiffer. I imagine you’d want it stiffer for off road and softer for normal riding.

Hi Nicky. I think it was Halfords but… it was almost useless. Much of the rear is naturally obscured by your jacket so had to turn slightly right for a sec to see behind. I got a far better one for my new bike - Carrera Crossfire 2 E-Bike - from Amazon. It simply fits into the end of the bar and is unobstructed. @@alanjohnnicholson8081 it’s really easy. You need to pull out the existing end stop, push the mirror fitting in and tighten the screw until fairly secure. Doesn’t need to be over tight, you’ll work that out. Then adjust the mirror for best view.

Well the tyre size is 28" x 1 5/8, 700x40c so I guess that's also the tube size.

E bikes make people lazy ok tho if you have health conditions etc

That's a shame but a sign of a good bike. Good price, great design. I had to order our two, took a week back in June 2021.

65, if that’s relevant. Filmed in 2021. Tyres, not sure. The frame size I think was 2”. My current Crossfire 2 is the E bike but with a 19” frame. Better size for me. This has 700x40C I think 28x1 5/8” Difficult to see.
