Carrie Underwood delivered a powerful and emotional tribute to George Michael at the 2023 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on November 3, 2023. She performed a note-perfect rendition of Michael's ballad "One More Try" from his 1987 album Faith. This performance was part of Michael's posthumous induction into the Hall of Fame, where other artists also honored his legacy.
Carrie Underwood, a long-time fan of George Michael and Wham!, has previously covered his songs, including "Praying for Time" and "Last Christmas". She expressed her admiration for Michael's music and voice, which greatly influenced her during her formative years as a musician.

Carrie did a great job and she totally had a heartfelt tribute because she loved George. It’s so interesting that no one on earth can cover George’s songs, and do them complete justice, but George had the ability to cover other people’s songs, and raise them to another level.

Carrie did a great jobs. As to the comments on her lips, she had an accident at her home and had to have reconstruction surgery on her mouth. She's still a very pretty lady.

Carrie Underwood is amazing. A great showcase for her talent is the gospel standard How Great Thou Art, and Jesus Take the Wheel was her breakout number-one hit. My personal favorite is Before He Cheats, and Blown Away is also great.

Write after Carrie sang this, Adam Levine sang & really nailed It. Generally, I'm not too excited about others singing George Michael's songs because no one comes even close to George.I understand that is out of love as a tribute but again I must say Adum did the best. I'm not really a fan of his. I guess I'm just biased, but I can't help It, George is the best ever!🕯😇🎶🎶🎶

Carrie did have a bad accident during winter and fell on her face. Her lip was torn so I’m sure you seeing results from that surgery as well as any other cosmetic surgery to help the scares.

Her new lips are because a few years ago, she fell down and her mouth hit a step. She had to have around 50 stitches in and around her mouth. I think she probably has filler injections done, periodically, to make both sides of her upper lip even. She still has a little bit of a scar on her chin.

You are correct, and they took skin to reform her lip the best they could, and she has admitted using filler. I’m all about the voice not the face personally 🤷🏼‍♀️

You guys do remember why she had to have the surgery done on her face right? She fell and cut her face and then had to have it reconstructed, basically.

@@williammoreland1870 I saw her in an interview after the alleged accident, and she didn't have the duck lips. I also suspect that the fall story was a cover for other cosmetic procedures, as I've heard actors use that reason for their recent "changes", as well. She's so pretty she doesn't need any of that.

@L1623VP I think her fall was real but all she did admit to using botox and lip fillers when she did a Howard Stern interview a few months ago. I think it's the norm for females now. Reba, Miranda,Carly and Lainey and Maren all look like they have injections.

@@L1623VP I know someone who gets lip injections. You have to have it done periodically because it wears off. When the injections are fresh, they look kind of puffy, so she probably just had it done.
