What they should have did was added the original cast and had their kids and grandkids in the new Dynasty. Alexis and Krystle would be the Matriarchs. Jeff , Fallon, Amanda, Steven , Adams etc kids would start taking over more. And they could have threw in that Blake had another child between Alexis and Krystle and never told. The new Dynasty could have easily been played something like that☺️

This is the one of two times I’ve been on Alexis’s side. The first was when she stood up for Steven’s lifestyle. She is perfectly entitled to cut ties with Amanda after this. I think the family is a little crazy trying to mend bridges.

OH Dynasty, the Platinum standard for evening Soap operas. I have fond memories of watching this with my mom. I used to love the scandalous arguments between Alexis and Krystal when they used to smack each other and say "YOU BITCH!" That was the worse thing you would hear on network TV!!

i totally agree...but i am re watching dynasty now...the title is actually incorrect....thiis scene took place in episode 25 not 26 and earlier in the episode amanda is crying on krystal's shldr and admits she made a terrible mistake and missed her mother terribly......stepping outside of standing in judgement of amanda and her actions it was clear she needed her mother's forgiveness and wanted someone to play intermediary in mending her relationship with her mother.....it also set the stage for a interaction with alexis n Krystle......in this case i dnt think alexis was wrong...if i walked in on my daughter in bed with my husband it wld take a suicide attempt for me to speak with her and even then our relationship wld nvr be the same(and i am not one for faking the funk so i wld have communicated my feelings to my daughter)....i am not sure the writers thought that entire storyline through....

Alexis never stole Fallon´s boyfriend. They shared same man [ Cecil Colby ], but Alexis married him well after Fallon cheated on Jeff with his uncle. It wasDex whom cheated on Alexis with Amanda ( whom I acctually like ). Alexis cheated on Blake in the past, which came up in during his trial for manslaughter.

that's a European/U.K. thing.....in Europe Tea is much more than in America....the wealthy socialites meet once a month for afternoon tea(4pm-6pm)....if the tea will be served close to 5pm or after you wld be invited to high tea....if you are invited for any kind of tea there will always be finger food and the socialites will have on big hats that you might see at the annual American kentucky derby......at this tea it is customary to pour the cream 1st and then the tea......throughout the show alexis did mny things that wld be associated with european culture....that's abzzurd...with a pronouncment on the Z....amanda called her mummy....and she frequently used the term LOVER in heated conversations with DEX!!!

+Chase Jackson Low quality, ceramic tea services were not capable of withstanding the temperature of tea first and required the milk to be poured in order to temper the hotness of the tea so the ceramic wouldn't shatter. Bone china, which is high quality, could withstand this temperature and thus tea was poured in fist. For Alexis the pour her milk in first would indicate that she was not familiar with this, and therefore an upstart. I don't know what the ramblings you wrote have to do with my original comment. Also so called "high tea" is for the working classes as well as tea was served at dinner time on a high table meant for meals, making it "high tea", while the wealthy had tea around 4pm on a lower tea table. Anyone who says "high tea" is a dilettante at best.

yikes!!!.....u can tell from this clip ceramic vs bone china..if even you were sitting next to joan collins in this scene it would still be doubtful that you could tell the difference btwn ceramic vs.bone china....and joan collins through rehearsing this scene...thought..oh this is ceramic vs bone china....i had better poor the milk 1st....BULLSHIT!!...it makes more sense that her actions were instinctive based on culture.. meanwhile your explanation is suppose to hold more weight than mine....based on what theory??...it's a matter of opinion which ramblings make more sense.....if your European then my response makes perfect sense...if your a mentally unbalanced person just trolling the internet to spread negativity and disrespect.......to know inconclusively why joan poured the milk 1st one wld have to be privy to the operations of her mind and since neither of us are privy to her thoughts and actions...your opinion carries no more weight than mine....i'm done here....will not review or respond to any further comments as to go back n fourth with insults and negativity is counter productive....feel free to have the last word (or last insult) if you need...take care,be well!!!

I would think the music is done last as they had to wait to see how the scene ended-up and have the orchestra play to what's shown on screen. Sure there's a more technical way to describe it, but that really added to the drama of the show.
