Nice looking Ute. My sore points are only 5 year's warranty when most other manufacturers have unlimited? Second sore point is why is there no digital radio and Android capacities? Time will tell on how reliable it will be and part availably.

I have one of these and it is bloody awesome! I have upgraded the suspension with lift, added a canopy, thrown on some rugged-terrain tyres, added CB radio, nudge bar, tow bar.Still cheaper than an un-modified triton, ranger or hilux. No complaints - its a beast

for those complaining too much plastic interior, I want to ask what else would it be if not plastic? steel? wood? gold? silver? sheep skin? fur? bamboo? enlighten me!

it's mostly that it's cheap plastic, not the nicer plastics that you'll find elsewhere. don't get why it's a big deal when it's a ute, and that plastic will be better off after being used as a ute. oh, wait; it's being used as a people mover / softroad SUV, because why wouldn't you get an LDV D90 (just as an example) that will do better for said purpose.

What’s maxux t60 that is sold in Middle East and how different is that from LDV T60 in Australia?

I've driven utes and there awesome I agree the extra power so much better than my last 2020 triton that left me wanting abit more power though to be fair was great on the highway. Just wondering whether you have input why our Chinese and Korean models are so limited I know we are far but waiting on the shanhai cannon to come out before I pull the trigger on buying an ldv or even the mad new maxus that were both supposed to come out late last year but with our government delays at the ports approval feel like we would be lucky to get any new coming to Australia period so frustration for Aussie car buyers prices keep going up cause so hard to get cars in the country no new tax on larger less fuel efficient cars scared non of the new utes will even be able to make it here

Just like post-authoritarian South Korean 90s made Daewoos and Hyundais befell by paint discolouration and then rust already hurt reliability and resale value.

I'm all for an underdog, but I'm curious how this company is still in business in Australia. Terrible build quality, resale value and reliability issues. As long as they continue to improve, they could be the next kia/Hyundai but... I'm not holding my breath

I just don’t see where your coming from on resale value. It holds up as good as anything else. Considering how cheap the the vehicle is new, I haven’t seen any second hand bargains and it’s been our for four years now.

@@goldfools5445 In a hugely competitive market, the LDV is often overlooked with the big manufacturers with a strong and proven history. The only competitive front the LDV has is its price, and I along with others can't justify it for that one benefit. Toyota's will always hold value, as will the Ford ranger, the ldv however has been prone to rust issues, bad warranty claims and its lack of length of service should have people concerned with how this model will fair in the future. You may have got lucky with yours, but I know of someone that had taken theirs back 4 times in 6 months!

@@danjones2913 I get these rust issues, and how some people are constantly having problems. Maybe the quality control isn’t quite as good when it comes to consistency. In the real world though I see these complaints on all forums of all brands. Check out DMAX, Ranger, Navara problems. I put a lot of it down to user error or user high expectations. How many people do you see driving through the surf then wondering why the car is having issues. Or driving in 4h on the road, believe me this does happen. For LDV t60 owners it’s probably their first 4wd even there first new car. If someone buys a $70,000 Ute you can bet they are coming from older 4wds that they have had years of experience with. If you look at the big picture instead of selective pockets you will find most people don’t have trouble or rust in any 4wd. If people use their car for extreme 4wdriving then get the right tool for the job. A T60 probably isn’t it. That saying even modified 79s can still break and break badly. It’s Ozito v Dewalt pick the tool for the job. Pay more get better or pay less and have money left over for other things. If Ozito will do everything you want why pay more.
@danjones2913
@danjones2913 2 жыл бұрын
@@goldfools5445 fair point, I mean even a new 79 series has its rear track issue which makes no sense to me whatsoever and the 200 with its dusting issues with the air box. If things are taken care of they will last, and knoedge is power when it comes to knowing the weaknesses of a vehicle and keeping an eye out for the related issues.

@@danjones2913 It’s mind blowing that you expect a car that has literally been on the Aussie market for less than 5 years to somehow be able to equally compete with veterans like Ford. SMH, these older brand already have a lot more fan base, and naturally, will have people more attracted to it. Like, what sort of drugs are you actually smoking?

Lose half its value as soon as you drive it of the lot and depreciates so much over 5 years (if it survives that long and doesn't fall apart) that when you go to sell it, you will need to pay the buyer money to take it off your hands!!

So you’re logic is you rather pay an extra $30K so you save $10K when you sell the vehicle?
@LVNITUPM8
@LVNITUPM8 2 жыл бұрын
@@nathannaderi8633 no my logic is I would rather pay extra 30k and have it hold its resale value all while it being a better quality car all around and have parts when I need them especially in the middle of nowhere outback. You name how many parts places or car shops would hold spare parts for ldv in the outback while Toyota's on the other hand you throw a rock and where it lands you will find parts. Try sell an ldv for anything more than 10k in 5 years time if it doesn't fall apart in that time or rust to pieces where as Toyota hilux will sell for at least triple that. On top of that I would rather not support a car manufacturer who is mostly owned by the ccp that is bent on ruining our economy
