Cartagena Spain is a city that sits in the Region of Murcia, on the Mediterranean coast. Typically a haven for sunshine and beaches, we got stuck in a strange and dangerous Sahara sand phenomenon. Of course, we tried to make the best of it, with tapas, drinks and exploring a 2,000 year old Roman theater.
Cartagena, Spain makes a perfect day trip from Murcia, as it is easily accessible with a 45 minute train ride. Although, you don't need to spend the night in Cartagena, there are some great tapas bars to hit up at night, when the city comes alive.

A Couple of Nomads?
Who are we?
Well, we are a couple from worlds apart that has chosen Valencia, Spain to be our home base. Vicky is born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, now an American citizen. Josh is an American, well, born and raised in small town, Ohio.
We left our jobs, family and friends and moved to Valencia, Spain in the middle of the pandemic. We decided to that we should also start a KZfaq channel to show the world that, you can do anything (even if you are getting grey hair), if you think you can! Minute 3:35 The highlight for me is the roman theatre. Minute 5:55... And the strong, delicious Asian coffee. Minute 7:10 l forgot.... the Marina. A lovely place in a sunny day. Good vlog. 👍

The black sauce is the sepia’s own ink! Similar to squid but more common in Southern Spain.

Thanks for your video - I actually loved the orange hue of your recording due to the sands! Quick question - did you feel like Cartagena was a safe place for a single female visitor thinking to move over there? As in, would it be safe for me to walk at night alone there? Any help would be much appreciated - Thanks!

How was the vermut slushy? How about the fried artichoke?? You guys find great food. Ummm Vicky...can't do that black cuttle fish thingy. But glad you enjoyed. I see Josh had his salad (at least one bite)

Vermut slushy was good! Would have been better on a hot day! Everything was good! Black cuttle fish was tasty but wish it wasn't black as it was so difficult to eat lol. Josh is eating more salad now lol thanks for watching!
