Omg 12 minutes in is my grandpa, Gilbert Parsons from Tazewell, Va. He’s been dead since January 1, 2005 from cancer. You have no idea how happy I am to see this.

Thanks so much for sharing. I love this. Joe Carter was a good friend of my dad’s and used to visit us often - especially in the 60’s and 70’s. Miss our talks, Joe playing the guitar and singing on our front porch and the stories he used to tell. He was so good to me growing up. Even after I was grown and married he called me by the nickname he gave me when I was little. Joe invited us over in 1983 or 84 when John & June filmed their Christmas special and introduced us to them. Thankful for many years of happy and special memories. He is greatly missed. Thanks again!!
