I like how June shakes her fist like she's shaking dice. I love love love their version. It doesn't matter how many times I hear this I'm still slayed by Anita's voice, truly The Appalachian Angel.

My mother who is now in her eighties still talks about listening to the Carter family on the radio 📻 back in the forties. One of the highlights of her being a little girl. 👧

Wow that must be a great memory to have 🥰 it’s crazy to think the original Carter family stopped in the early 1940s due to Sara’s retirement from the music business.
