I think this was more of an issue in the last campaign, the Neoflesh Cult actually look like their species can have all these crazy forms because they've merged themselves with different machines for different purposes but even with Lockdown I think they did a great job justifying afterwards when people complained, I don't think it translated amazingly to the gameplay, but their explanation of how the species grew did help a little.

Looking at the way the arrange the stretch goals and updates, i feel like presenting SETS would attract less crowd engagements than what it is right now (coz you only need one vote). Although I completely agree with you in this, perhaps AR (and many other backers) would perceive it as a lack of crowdfunding content.

Yeah I agree@@indratjong705 , What they do right now is the best to attract people. I just think the product would be better the other way. Still a fan.

If you have cheap shipping to your country - the standee core +SGs is great value - but they agree with you - get it at retail if you choose - For my country cheaper in GF - Show me another campaign at moment with so much value for core ( not deluxe edition ) . AR - does nerf it's core like c'mon as much

As far as I have seen - None of the Addons are actually needed - you can buy the base game REALLY cheap with standees and it looks like its going to be an awesome game. So if the addons is whats scaring you off - Maybe nemesis isnt for you at all.

@@buhg1 True you can get a standee version that you won't be able to upgrade in the future if the game turn out to be good. It's not the price of the game that is so detrimental, it's the value. I literally spent more than the 109$ pledge on cocktails this weekend with my wife, and I got the value out of it. With these SG I don't see the incentive to back this project now, 2 years before I get the game with the value proposition that they are giving me. It will cost me literally the same, or maybe a little bit more if I get the game after 2 years on retail, try it, and if I like it to buy the SG box. Where is the incentive to pay now instead of then. And another note, if I get the game on retail, the retailer gets 40% of the MSRP, so AR gets the other 60%,if I back it on Gamefound AR gets 100% of the MSRP, so how do AR value my money...the difference for the SG for me would be if I payed another 40€ on top of retail, so where does AR brings me value for giving them my money 2 years earlier.

@@nimblegoat I don't need to show you another campaign that give so "much value" for the core game, I can literally give you retail options that bring much more value for my 150ish EUR (that is how much it will cost with shipping and VAT): I can buy OG Nemesis and Great Western Trail for the same amount, or I can buy Zombicide:Invader, Dune:Imperium and Cascadia...or Heat:Pedal to the metal and Chutulu:Death May Die. It's simple :AR with Nemesis Retaliation does not bring any additional value to back on crowd funding. The OG Nemesis had SG that included Voidseeders, Medic, and Aftermath (with 5 playable characters), that had value...damn,even backing OG Nemesis on this campaign has more value than Nemesis Retaliation.

@@adukovski Fair enough - If get the standee version or mini for $22 to NZ - no VAT charged - if buy in NZ will pay 15% VAT , so always a higher cost -if buy here- Lockdown with stretchgoals box here is over US$200 easily- that assumes free shipping - I do get your point - say DeCeased Zombicide - US $70 to ship just core - I could get a couple of small games for that easy like Scout +Long shot the dice game - or a sizeable big game - I do think that AR has lower prices than if they did not own GF - ie that $65 might be $75 - because they bring people to GF for other projects

Don't take it personally, but I give broad recommendations and the vast majority of people don't need it. Honestly even someone who games a lot probably doesn't need it. I don't think you even need it. I'm trying to give you a shot of cold water. If you still want to justify buying it, then it's your choice. I'm just a resource to help.
